INTRODUCTION Reflective report is the analytical writing where writer describes the real or imaginary scene, interaction, event, memory, form, passing thoughts, adding personal reflection on the meaning of incident or situation with thought, feelings and emotions of his or her life. The focus is on writing not the merely description. In reflective report the analysation of events or idea with the depth thinking. In the above reflectivereportwe have donethereflectivewritingon the future employment opportunities within the hospitality industry. The description of various skills is accessed which are necessary for the individual to develop in self to enhance his/her growth opportunity among the industry. MAIN BODY Working among the hospitality industry could be highly rewarding. The essential skills which are required for the upliftment of the career among the hospitality industry are as follows - Team Work – Team work is the essential in each and every job within hospitality industry. As I was working in this industry I used to work individually. I do not prefer to work in the team and if any task allotted to me, I couldn't coordinate with team members. Thus, this lack me behind from working in the team. I like to work in my own ways, so I was not comfortable to work with the team members as I was not involved with other co-workers. As I developed the team work skill I am agreed to work with the teams and complete the job task with coordination among team workers this raises my performance and developed a confidence among me. With the help of team work I could easily build a good bonding among my co-workers. Working with the team work I could learn more things from my co team members and develop new skills in me which willbehelpfulformeinthefuturegrowthanddevelopmentwithinthehospitality industry(Claveria, Monte and Torra, 2015). Multi-Tasking – Multi-Tasking is very important in the hospitality industry as there is no same day in the industry. The footfall of the customer varies daily, so the staff of the hotel must be able to handle the multi task and should deal potentially with the number of jobs in the day. I couldn't be able to handle multi task which is the hurdle for me to survive in the industry. As I develop this skill in me I could swipe to any job at any time in the hotel(Rhou and Singal, 2019). This is very helpful 2
for me to develop various skills in me related to different job task which can be performed in the hotel. With multi-tasking I could also assist and attend the customers effectively and satisfy customers with their needs and demands thus this is also helpful for the hotel in retaining their existing customers to visit again to the place and enjoy the amazing services which are rendered by the hotel thus this somehow directly influence my performance and this leads to enhance my career growth opportunity(Dzhandzhugazova and et.al, 2016). Flexibility – The majority of hospitality staff works for the long hours and difficult shift times, they are also tended to work on the holidays. I was not flexible for working on holidays and difficult shift timing because of my personal life this has an adverse effect on my performance. As I was not counted in the extraordinary workers in the hotel so no performance rewards are allotted to me as I was not flexible for work with the hotel in the busy period. Now as I become more flexible to my job I'm ready to work if it is needed in the busy period. So extra rewards and incentives are provided me for working in the difficult shifts and holidays and thus this will help in raising my monetary also and enhances my performance appraisal. Working flexible help me to get soon promotion in the department of the hotel and now I assist the teams of large peoples and handle them effectively so that they can perform all their task properly and convene the visitors of the hotel and avails them with the great experience for the hotel(Jones, Hillier and Comfort, 2016 ). Time management – The job and task are needed to be completed in timely manner in order for all aspects of hotel for their smooth running. During the festival time there is rush in the hotels all order should be managed on time so that they can avail the orders to the customers on time and don't let them wait for long time. I was weak at time management and not punctual towards my job and task. This results in delay my tasks and job even I could reach to the hotel on time as this had a bad impact on my performance and sometime I could have a late penalty for coming late to the hotel. Further, with the help of mobile app and notes I manage my work and completes my all task before time this somehow built a positive attitude in me for performing the task on time and rendering the better services to the customers. Thus, I was appreciated by my managers and leaders. This has a significant impact on my performance and growth which is considered by my hotel manager. This is also a positive sign for the hotel to attract new customer and satisfy them 3

Communication - The communication skills are highly essential when it comes to serving the customers better in hospitality industry. Having the effective skills of communication helps the staff of hotel to provide world-class services to their visitors and make them feel valued. Besides this, it also helps to build a rapport and trust among the minds of consumer for the staff as well as hotel. This has been a complicated task for me as my communication skills were not furnished enough that can create a value for the visitors(Singal, 2015). I was unable to communicate with the guests as well as my c-workers due to which my work suffered to a great extent. To overcome this issue, I attended various workshops and took communication training which helped me a lot. After pursuing this, I was able to solve the problem of the visitors instantly by simply communicating with them and listening them effectively. I became potent enough to tell them about the various benefits of choosing the particular hotel. Besides this, I was able to interact with my co-workers and top management effectively that helped me to solve my problems and eventually helped me to understand their working(Kim, Vogt and Knutson, 2015). Interpersonal skills - Apart from the communication skills, the most important skill which is highly crucial for increasing the performance of hotel are the interpersonal skills. Various interpersonal skills like collaboration, self-confidence, positive attitude etc are significant for attracting the customers and making an unforgettable impression within their mind. Talking of my interpersonal skills, I was unable to work collaboratively with my team members and co-workers. I lack behind the team spirit and was unable to understand the work being allocated in the teams. Besides this, it was difficult for me to understand the work done by my co-workers and communicate with them effectively due to which my team work ability was low. In order to solve this issue, I took classes for improving my interpersonal skills through I was able to communicate with rest of the staff and was able to serve the customers better. This also helped me undertake various tasks which seems to be difficult and helped me to work on various my behaviour towards customers as well as the complicated software. Apart from this, I was able to understand the working of various cross functional department which helped me in my personal growth and grooming and eventually helped me to achieve my individual as well as the organizational goals(Liang and 4
et.al., 2017). CONCLUSION From the above study it is concluded that the above skills are necessary for an individual for working in the hospitality industry. It is helpful for the individual growth along with the growth of the hotel as well. The individual with such skill will be the fruitful for the hotel and thus hotel can also render the high quality services to their customers on time and satisfy the new customers and this will commence them to visit again to the hotel and render the best services of the hotel. This will directly raises the number of customers to the hotel and thus the individual with this skill will also be rewarded and promoted forward for their job well done. The individual can have a better growth opportunity in the hospitality industry by developing such skills and work efficiently. 5
