industry is to provide luxury services, enhance experience of their customers. There are
increasing competition in this industry a firm are competing in term of customers service.
Purpose of this report is to identification of role of management consultant and understand
strategic relevance of project report. It also provides understanding of hospitality industry and
problems in operation of organisation. This project report addresses various problems occur in
hospitality business. These include managing orders of customers, response to customers
problems, meeting expectation of customers, changes in marketing trends. These problems do
not business to successfully conduct their operation in market and also create threat for business
in market. To identify these problems, managers can use various methods. These methods
include SWOT analysis and PESTEL analysis.

to these factors (Almanza, 2019). PESTEL analysis is one of external analysis tool which helps
business to analyse external factors in business. These external factors can create negative impact
on business as firm has no control over these factors. Organisation can only reduce its impact

Marriott in the year 1927.Company has largest hotel chain in different parts of world
(Anandhwanlert and Wattanasan, 2017). Organisation has around 30 brands in their name and

has around 1423044 rooms. These total numbers of room were located in 131 countries and
union territories.
Feedback and problems in operation
Organisation is not providing answers to email to their customers and event they are not
responding on their social media accounts (Bavik, 2020). Customers need to call
customer service for resolution of their problems to hotel. This call takes long hold time
in hotel which create negative impact on image of hotels.
Problems related to websites and application as it difficult to manage reservation of
hotels with this software. These is problems related to inability of organisation for
searching hotels as well as inaccuracy in prices sown in websites.
Positive reputations:
Organisation is providing wedding venues and also manage that effectively (Bharwani, Mathews
and Ghura, 2019). Organisation has build is reputation for managing events effectively as they
offer venue for wedding and others events.
