Introduction:
Aim: To develop decision making, communication integrated, knowledge of the realistic
project and problem-solving skills.
Project Design Implementation and Evaluation is a team approach that developed an
online project with Instructional design, media production, content development, website
service development and Project Leader learning technology. Here, we have designed
a report on hotel website PDIE.
In the first section, we will propose two proposals for the current website. We will also
create an estimated idea resource allocation and grant chart.
In the Second section, we will explain project management cycle for the implantation
plan. Website design outcome will be analysed by the logbook and user feedback.
In the third section, we will project evaluation techniques such as pert analysis, and
SDLC cycles. Resource allocation and grant chart will be representing the out of the
website that will be analysis systematic recording and GAP analysis.
In the fourth section, we will project phase for the website design outcomes and website
specification. Further, we will explain project evaluation and presented the graph on the
website design.

1.1 Formulated and recorded possible outline project specifications
Here, we have explained the two project definition for the current website.
Project Definition 1:
Project Name:
Implementation of the payment system, Login process, chatbot and enhanced the
Website GUI for the Exmouth view hotel website.
The objective of the project:
Exmouth view hotel primary objective is providing the excellent service and best product
quality which satisfied the customer. Then increase the volume of the customer which
helps the enhance the hotel business. Hotel staff Satisfaction is necessary for the
website. The hotel wants to maximise profit with customer satisfaction.
Risks:
Here, we have defined the Risk that may be faced during web designed.
 The website may be providing lack of enterprise search product with content
faceting which makes designer loosed of time and money.
 The website may be loosed the traffic on the server which impacted the SEO of
the website.
 Payment gateway hacked by the third party which may affect the customer
sensitive data (McInnis, 2015).
Constraints of the project:

Here, we have explained the Constraints of Exmouth view hotel website.
 Website GUI: Website GUI is not good. There are no proper linking between the
webpage, used the less image for the information and Image are blur and
provide the less information.
 Payment Gateway: Website has no payment gateway for the online payment.
The user cannot pay through PayPal, visa, and master card etc.
 Communication system: User cannot communicate with the hotel directly so
they are not able to solve their problem.
 Login System: Website has no login system for the user. The user feels
difficulty to access the website. They cannot access the service and product of
the website (Gardner, 2009).
Successfully Completion:
After the completion of the project, hotel website provides the online payment system
(pay the online), Login process (easy access the project), chatbot (for the customer)
and enhanced the Website GUI.

 The user may change their requirements so the system will change their plan
and designing process.
 There is server related issue which may handle some time difficult (McInnis,
2015).

 Website GUI: There is no proper linking between the webpage, Image is a blur
and provide the less information and used the less image for the information and.
 Login System: Website has no login system for the user. They cannot access

Recommendation:
According to user feedback, there are needs following recommendation for the
website:
 Payment gateway should be designed for online payment. Hotel website
should be developed for a secure payment system for their customers.
 The Chatbot is needed for the customers’ communication. It is a virtual
way to communicate with the customer and get their requirements and
feedbacks.
 Hotel GUI is not at the time so there need to improve the GUI through
designed the navigation, provide the suitable image which gives proper
info about hotel service and product.
 The customer wants a login process on the hotel website. The login
process helps easy access to the website. Login process also needs the
database.
Total Cost:
Hotel PDIE project estimated cost £ 18,500.00 for the designed the payment
gateway (need for the secure online payment process), Website GUI (need
image which gives the proper info about), Login process (for user login process)
and chatbot (communication with the user in a virtual way).
Possible Financial Benefit
 Increase the Customer: Online process access by the global community
which enhanced the hotel business. It also established the market value of
the hotel. Hotel website makes visible the hotel on the worldwide that
increase the customer of the hotel.

which enhanced the hotel business revenue. Product and service that is
satisfied the customer hotel try to make better for the customer and

chance to gain a number of regular customers that enhanced the

 Real-time System: Hotel needs a real-time service system for booking the
hotel and increased the integrations of the property management system.
Integrations help to make provide smooth and quick access facilitate the

 Automating services: Hotel needs a login process system for the

data that help in the business enhanced and success.
 Communication System: Hotel needs a communication system which
helps to direct communication with the customer. It improved the system
that will enhance the hotel business.
 Secure Payment System: Hotel needs a secure online payment system
which helped online payment. It offered to user pay the payment through

1.3 Produced a specification for the agreed project
We have chosen the first project specification plan. Here, we have designed
payment gateway, chatbot design, login process, and improved the GUI of the
website.

Implementation of the payment system, Login process, chatbot and enhanced

Objectives:
Project primary objective is designed the payment system, login system, chatbot
and GUI of the website which enhanced the hotel business. The project will be
established the customer relationship that hotel revenue.
Key Audiences:
Hotel customer, staff, and Prospective client and employees are a key audience
of the hotel website. Project objective defined for the key Audiences that may
affect the hotel business.

Here, we have explained the WBS and Grant chat for the proposed the plan.
Create WBS and Grant chat:
WBS is a working model that performed the work in the project management in the
hierarchical structure. WBS also works as a tool which defined the tasks and resource
that completed these tasks in the projects.
We have designed WBS for the Hotel website that has eight phase for the completed
the design.
 Planning and information collection phase collected the data or information and
designed the planned for completion the project.
 Define the concept phase defined the project objective and developed the SDLC
cycle.
 Define the Requirements phase defined user, server and content requirements
and also analysis the Risk and specification of the project.
 HR resource management phase manages the resources, provide the training to
the staff and selection the team for the project.

2.1 Matched resources efficiently to the project
We have designed the project Management cycle for the matched the resources
efficiently. Project management cycle has five phase that helps to complete the project
with given resources and cost.

Project Initiation
It is initiation phase where defined the project goal. We have feasibility study of current
hotel website that helps to how to complete the project. We created the project charter
and PID that defined the hotel purposed and requirements. In this phase include the
project stakeholder (project manager, HR manager, tester engineer, software engineer,
and hardware engineer), business need, and business case.

Phase 2: Project Planning
Project Manager designed the roadmap for the website designed. We have selected
SMART Setting goals for the website planning.
 Specific: who used website, why the need of the website, and what the use of
the website?
 Measurable: project Manager designed the planed completed the project and
defined term and conditions.
 Create criteria that you can use to measure the success of a goal.
 Attainable: the website should be provided proper information with image and
implemented payment system and login system.
 Realistic: Project will work on the payment system, login system, chatbot, and
database system
 Timely: project manager will be decided this project completed in 7 to 8 weeks
(Esposito, 2015).
Project Execution
In this phase, designed the team (Project manager, software engineer, hardware
engineer, database developer), selected the resources for hotel website and make a
plan how to execute the project. Project manager installed WordPress, designed the
database and network server for the hotel website. Project manager scheduled the
project. The project will be completed in the 61 days. During the project execution,
project Manager tracked and monitored the project and take the team manager meeting
to solve the problem which arises during the website development.
Project Performance/Monitoring
Hotel website performance measure according to key performance indicators that
determine the project is on the track. KPI used factors to perform hotel website project.

applied to the login process and online payment.

 Developer installed the WordPress CMS for designed responsive and clean
website. It provides the SEO friendly code.
 Database developer designed the database on the MySQL. It is a secure and
easy understanding database.
 It implemented NLSP Approach for design the chatbot (Cousins, 2018).

Communication Management
Implement the website design project, project manager break down the task, define the
team member role (HR manager, software engineer, Hardware Engineer, Tester
Engineer, and database developer), define each task due date and also defined the

scheduled date which solved the issue of team member and website (McDaniel, 2015).

3.1 Use of appropriate project evaluation techniques
Here, we have explained the project evaluation techniques pert analysis and SDLC
cycle for the performed the website outcomes performance.
PERT Analysis
PERT Analysis Technique used as scheduling method in the hotel website project. It
designed the plan, explained the task and activities for the project management of hotel
website, and decided the criteria for the budget and time. PERT Analysis defined the
relationship between task time and task cost and try to complete the project given time
and cost.

In the hotel website project, PERT work as integrated project management system that
manages the complexities during the project development phase. It worked on website
designed effort, and deadlines of the project.
PERT analysis is used in the website designed project to calculate the estimated
budget. The estimated budget calculation needs three parameters such as optimistic
time estimate, pessimistic estimate, and the normal or realistic time estimate. For the
hotel website, PERT Network works on the critical path and slack time (Inc, n.d.).
System life cycle
SDLC referred Software Development Life Cycle or system Development Life Cycle.
We have used the SDLC cycle for the web design. Website SDLC is a process to
design the hotel website with high quality and low budget with given timing. It included
the complete plan for how to design the website, it's maintained, alter and replacement.

SDLC stages: Here, we have defined the SDLC stages which need for the website
design.
 Identify the current problems: Hotel website has not payment system and login
process. The website has lack of image and images give less information. Hotel
website GUI is not proper. Hotel customer cannot communicate with hotel direct
way.
 Plan: We have made a plan for the solved these problems on the website. The
resource, cost, software and team are selected for the hotel website design. Risk
analysis is also performed to measure the Risk which occurred during the
website design.
 Design: Hotel website designs according to the Design Specification phase of
the SDLC cycle. We have collected the feedback and recommendations form the
stakeholders, user, hotel staff and customer. Cost and time waste if this phase
project Failure will occur (Jenna, 2010).
 Build Hotel website designs according to plan and requirements. We have
installed the WordPress and designed the database for the website. After the
WordPress installation, website payment system and login system are designed.
Website GUI make responsive and design proper linking between the pages.
Chatbot system designed on the website for the customer communication
(French, n.d.).
 Test: After the design the website tests. We have fixed some issues until website
meets the original requirements.
 Deploy: After the testing, the website gives the hotel. They checked the website
and given positive and negative feedback. More Adjustments make in the
website according to t user feedback (French, n.d.).
 Maintain: There are maintained and update the website according to future
requirement. Maintain of website need for the hotel success. In the future,
website updates latest software and technology.

Quality Audit:
Quality Audit is set of subjective quality criteria that are defined the guidelines for the
web industry. It checks the website page language, grammar, and punctuation (Churt,
2016).
Auditing of the website can be determined that web design achieved the scope or not. If
the website does not achieve the goal, then increase the performance of the website.
Content Assessment and Technical Assessment are the terms of website auditing that
measures the performance of the hotel website (Systemico, 2015).
The advantage of the Quality Audit:
Here, we have defined three advantage of the Quality Audit for the marketing
perspective.
 Improving Performance: Quality Audit improved the website performance of
content and technical infrastructure and framework. It defined the website as
browser friendly, Navigation of website page and relevant the content.

Hotel website related information is collected. This information help designed purpose,
scope, Target Audience, and Content. The payment system, login process, and chatbot
are designed for the website that improved the web GUI and helps enchanted the hotel
business. Hotel targets 15 – 70 years old Audience.
Proposal Phase:
Proposal phase developed a sitemap for the hotel website. There are designed a
navigational system for developing a consistent in the website, and user interface. Web
designer also selected CMS (content management system) as WordPress and decided
the technologies that should be implemented on the hotel website.
Project Assignment:
There are designed the plan for the website budget and timing of completion. It also
decided the maintenance plan for the website. Project Manager selected the team for
the project (Petramayerconsulting, n.d.).
Project:
In this phase, Hotel website is designed, developed and tested. For the website GUI,
web designer designed the navigation bar (help to linked the website pages), insert
image (give the information about hotel service and product), login system design (user
login and access the website secure way) chatbot design (for the communication
between user and hotel) and payment system (online payment). The web designer will
be selected the CMS as Wordpress and used the NSPL approach for the chatbot
design. Authorization and Authentication protocol is used to implement the payment
system. After the implementation user requirements, Tester tests the hotel website.
Tester tests the website on the FTP, W3 validation, and also test Authorization and
Authentication of the system.

Launch:
In this phase, website Launch on servers for the customer. The customer used the
website and gave the feedback the after the implementation the website. It is the last
phase of the project. The website is ready for the use of customers (Bow, 2008).

4.2 Used an agreed format and appropriate media to present the
outcomes of the project to an audience.
Here, we have explained the implemented website with the target audience rating,
special function, and project evaluation.
Website functionality Rating:
After the implementation of the website, hotel website takes a survey on the new
website. Target audience gives the rating the website according to their implemented
functionality. According to the rating, website functionality successful implemented.
Target audience gives a rating for the payment system (4 rating), Login system (4.3
rating), Chatbot (3.7 rating), website GUI (4,5 rating) and database of the website (4.6
rating).

Conclusion:
Here, we have designed the hotel website project for the Exmouth view hotel. Hotel
website designed on HTML, CSS, and PHP language currently. The new website has
implemented on the WordPress. The new website contained online payment, login
process, chat bot system, Database development, and GUI of the website which
enhanced the business success.
In the report, we have explained two type of specification for the current website
according to user and stakeholder feedback and selected the first specification for the
website design. Then we have described the project plan for the current website. In the
next section, I have explained the project life cycle for the website and defined the
systemic recording, time management and cost management. Future we have also
explained log book, special function (implemented on the current website). In the third
section, we have defined the SDLC, Pert Analysis, and Gap Analysis to measure
website performance. In the end, we have explained project phase, project evaluation
and target audiences rating.
