INTRODUCTION
Development plan provide us the guidelines that are followed at the time of development
assessment process. It is an assessment tool and it recommended that applicants review
the development plan section which is related to their development before preparing.
The personal development plan is that action plan in which we can use to determine our
goals and what we want to accomplish. It includes the strength and weakness. The
professional development plan summarising an individual's goal they would like to
accomplish in the relation top their personal, educational and the career development.
This report will include the strength, weakness, skills, long term aims, short term goals
and development plan of HR (Abel and et. al.,2020).
What am I now?
Identifying strengths- These are those skills and character traits that are consider positive. These
are the tasks that we can do very well.
Communication skills- I have an excellent communication skill as I can make anyone
understandable very easily. I can talk to anyone without any problem and also understand
others.
Adaptability- I take a great pride in my ability of adaptability as I can adopt any situation
and get the best result for the organisation.
Work ethic- My greatest strength is work ethic as I am never afraid to take any difficult
task or take on difficult clients. This is because, these clients and tasks teach me the most
Identifying weakness- These are those skills or character traits that are consider negative and not
as well developed (Rodriguez and et. al 2021).
Problem solving- I am not able to solve any critical problem because it need some
analytical skills and counter- intuitive skills. I do not have these skills that why I am
lacking in problem solving.
Teamwork- My biggest weakness is the teamwork as I am not comfortable to work in a
team or groups. I get confused in group tasks and not able to work well in a team.
Time management- I am not very good at measuring how long a specific task will take
me to finish. I am not able to divide the specific activities according to time. Often I
underestimate the time that it will take to do the smaller jobs. This result is that I am not
able to delegate the enough time to larger, the more important projects.

Identifying existing skills-
Leadership skill- I can encourage my team members to set a standard goal. I m able to
lead a team and also make the courage decisions at the time of difficult situation.
Confidence- I am very confident about what I do and what I think. I can speak in public
with confidence as I am takes the smart risk and able to move the outside my comfort zone
(Chenand et. al 2020).
Information technology- I have the knowledge about technical software that is very
essential. I also able to understand the programming language and easily analysis the data.

Future required skills or qualification to become a HR consult
The task of hiring a HR consultant is very daunting, there are some top skills which are
required to become a HR consultant (Lin. and et. al 2021).
Mentoring skill- A HR consultant requires exhibiting the motivational and mentoring
skills from time to time. It helps them to motivate employees and also helps to accomplish
required target. They should have good understanding problems which peoples in an
organisation are encountering.
People assessment skills- The HR consultants deals with different types of peoples. They
have to cooperate with them according to the present situation and have to mange a perfect
balance within the organisation. So, the HR consultants require the ability of to assess a
candidate’s capabilities.
Human capital management skill- The HR consultants require the possess exceptional
HRM skills, because it is a core activity that required to be performed by them. They also
should manage to retain and train their employees within the organisation.
Identifying long term aims
These are those aims that we want to achieve in the future and these are essential for the
successful career. It includes to obtaining the promotion, improve the efficiency rate in a project.
Improve feedback structure- Giving the feedbacks in a positive way clearly good impact.
By avoiding the negative feedbacks and reviews the employee’s performance with the aim
of motivating them.

Keep up HR education- To stay good and keep learning. Their new knowledge and the
skills are very valuable not for only the, but also for the organisation. It will make them
better and also make qualified for a higher and better job opportunity.
Lower turnover rates- The HR consultant should focusing on the improving their
employee’s experience as it will help to save their cost and time. It will also improve an
experience of everyone within the organisation (Ye and et. al 2020).
How am I going to get there?
Setting short term goals- These are those goals which we want to do in near future and it is
helpful to set up the long term goals. There are some short term goals of and HR consultant which
are given below:
Time Management: - For an HR time management is the process where he can divide his
time between specific activities. Good time management enables his work better- not
harder- so that he can get more done in less time, even when are tight and pressure is high.
By this skill an HR utilize his time effectively and achieve his desired goals and results.
And he can more focus on his work and grow better in his life.
Critical Thinking: - It is the ability to think clear and rationally for an HR person and he
can understand the logical connection between ideas. It is a term that he can use to
different form of learning or in various thought of process. In simple word, an HR can
analyse or compile information and use creative ideas in his life.
Smart Working: - By smart working or intelligent performance an HR can add great
flexibility to work processes through innovative solution in his life. By smart working he
can do work easier and achieve the goals very easily and comfort ability (Liu and et. al
2021).
Setting timelines
Time management- This skill will be achieved with the time period of 6 month.
Critical thinking- This skill will be learned in the time period of 7 month.
Smart work- This skill can be adopted within the 10 month by practicing.

measurement or assessment to track these skills. They should adopt method to achieve these skills
and learn from them something which will be helpful foe their career development. Thus, an
individual needs to develop their skill for their professional life as well as the personal life.
