OVERVIEW
Human resource marketing is the key element of business success and progress because it
provides a lot of advantages to an organization. It helps to gain the attention of skilled and
experienced workers that are capable to perform and contribute to achieve strategic goals of
ventures. The current assignment will be based on five different activities that relate to particular
subjects.
ACTIVITY 1
Analyzing differences between manager function and leader role in three organizational
departments
Manager function is quite different from the role of leader within a company. For
example, their main function is to develop plan related to marketing practices while working as
marketing manager. Planning is the main role of manager through which they may take action to
obtain desire outcomes. On the other hand, in similar department leader role is to guide workers
to conduct each activity according to plan that may develop by manager for purpose of business
growth and success in market place.
Another function of manager is to monitor the performance and productivity of
productions or operations as well as human resource department workers, which is also different
from role of leader (Homan and et.al., 2020). Leaders by working in these departments play vital
role in term of providing suggestions and directions to each candidate that help to obtain desire
outcomes.
ACTIVITY 2
How leadership theories support in performance and growth within a company
Situational, transformational, management by objectives, contingency, etc. types of
leadership and management theories may put positive impact on performance and progress of
workers that may perform within TESCO departments such as human resource, marketing
department and operations department. It affects positively or support in positive manner, in term
of increasing each candidate productivity and organization as well, because these concepts drive
the attention of leaders and managers to conduct those activities and attempts that may boost
