INTRODUCTION
Human resources management is one of the most effective functions of the organisation
through which they hire the potential individual towards the workplace. HR department perform
the function of the hiring, selecting, inducting employees, giving training to the employees in the
company. They are one of the most valuable part of the organisation through which the
organisation become able to accomplish the task in the given time (Analoui, 2017). HR
department of the organisation focuses on to maximum utilise the efficiency of the employees.
HRM department of the company manage the individuals in the company and helps them to
solve the problems of he individual at the workplace. For this report, Jaguar has been undertaken
into the account. It is a British global car manufacturing company that is based in the United
Kingdom. It is one of the luxury car brand that is present in the market. In this report main areas
of the HRM will be discussed in relation to the sustainability. Impact of the changing nature on
the performance of the employees will also be analysed. There will be the discussion on the
practices of the HR department in relation to the recruiting and retention of the employees.
Various internal and external factors will be undertaken that affects the HRM decision-making
process.
MAIN BODY
P1 Explaining the main areas of HRM in their relation to creating sustainable performance.
HRM department should focus on to expand the activities of their department in order to
make the environment of the workplace more positive. HRM department of the organisation
mainly helps the leaders with the potential people through which the overall performance of the
company can be increased. HRM department also tries to bring the sustainability in the
workplace (Bailey and Et. Al., 2018). Through this the unethical activities in the workplace can
be decreased and the sustainability can be carried out in the operations. HRM department
perform various functions in regards to the sustainability like removing of the ethical issues,
promoting corporate social responsibilities etc. in relation to the Jaguar, HRM performs various
functions in regards to the sustainability are as follows:
Recruiting and staffing employees: It means that the HRM department of the company
hire the appropriate candidates in the workplace in order to perform the specific task. An ATS
system is followed by the organisation to fulfil the needs of the employees in the company.
