INTRODUCTION
Human resource administration system is considered as software that helps in easy
administration of process and data of organisation. It is also helpful in recruitment &
selection, providing training to its subordinates and also focuses on offering safety to its
employees during particular phase of time period. This report is carried upon company named
as Ramsay Health care. It is well known company and provides private healthcare facilities to
its user in order to satisfy them. This company was located in Australia in the year of 1964.
There are various services provided by company such as surgery, rehabilitation as well as
psychiatric care to its customer that helps in increasing profit margin in future period of time.
Therefore, there are various functions such as recruitment, selection training and provide
safety to its employees that must be influenced by virtual working environment which is
discussed in this report in an appropriate manner (Armstrong and Taylor, 2020).

There are three functions that must be influenced by virtual working environment
such as recruitment & selection, providing training and also offer safety to its employees
during particular phase of time period that is given below:
Recruitment & Selection
Recruitment and selection is considered as a process of human resource
administration which imposes direct effect on whole performance of organisation. There are
various approaches which are used by chosen organisation for organising recruitment and
selection that help in achieving goal in timely manner. Recruitment is determined as a
process that helps in hiring competent candidate for available job position. And, the selection
helps in choosing suitable candidate for available job position. Therefore, it is considered as a
main function of HRM that influenced by covid-19 in present time. Due to impact of covid-
19, it is necessary for organisation to adopt different norms which is necessary to follow. For
example, in entrance gate of company, they have to mention “No mask No Entry” so that it
helps in protecting them from covid-19 (B Romney, 2018). Hence, it is not easy for
organisation to recruit and select candidate by using face to face interview. And, they are

focusing on using telephone & Skype for taking interview in order to select capable candidate
for available job vacancy. Therefore, Human resource information system is also an effective
tool which creates a virtual working environment for supporting recruitment process within
the organisation. There are number of improvement within recruitment process of firm while
implementing human resources information. Some of these are going to be discussed below:
Hiring talented employees: In current situation, it becomes difficult for healthcare
organisation to recruit and hire talented employees who can perform various jobs. This is
because health care job includes highest threat for being infected by the virus. In context of
this, virtual working environment help in hiring talented employees by using various
platforms. It use online channel for recruiting employees where personal interviews are
conducted by help of zoom meetings and other software included in human resources
information system. This also valued data from previous supplies and backup about interested
candidate and used to fill the vacant post (Bratton and Gold, 2017).

helpful in simplifying recruitment process in which they focuses on eliminated different
stages which are not considered as necessary in the current situation of covid-19. It helps in

with competitors and achieve business objectives in timely manner. There are various skills

a major function of human resources department which is impacted by the covid-19 in current
time. Due to covid-19 impact, organisation has to use the norms of social distancing. This
makes it difficult for firm to initiate the training and development processes. Because it

includes the personal interaction which is included in providing training to its staff through
which covid-19 and spread of virus will be increased (Chelladurai and Kerwin, 2018).

support of its function related to training and development. It Include record of training
expenses, training timings, training period and many other essential items which are required

which must be followed by organisation in present time due to increase in Covid- 19. They
provide extra health and safety facility to individual person for their protection during
particular phase of time period. Therefore, human resource information system is very

important for providing health and safety to individual person that is going to be mentioned
below:
Employees health records it is necessary for organisation to maintain record related
to health that help in increasing their knowledge regarding problems, diseases and issues that
help in providing safety to them according to their disease. They also provide work from
home facility to those individuals who have a health issues that help in providing protection
of other employees that help in increasing performance level of organisation in future period
of time. Therefore, the chosen organisation uses Resin order to maintain health record of
employees during particular phase of time period.
Proper allocation of health care items the organisation also provided them item
related to health and safety such as sanitizer, mask that help in providing safety to its
employees during particular phase of time period. Due to increase in Covid-19, it is necessary
for every company to provide necessary items which is helpful in protecting them from any
kind of disease which will provide advantage to organisation in future period of time.
Guidance for safety they also provide guidance in order to provide safe environment
to them from any kind of diseases. In addition to this, they provide guidance for wearing
mask is necessary for protecting themselves and also they maintain social distancing that help
in protecting them from any kind of disease during the period of time (Wehrmeyer, 2017).

On the basis of above mentioned report, it has been analysed that human resource
management system is determined as a software that assist in management of data as well as
process of business organisation in an appropriate manner. Due to Covid-19, HRIS help
company in managing or handling management related to human resource during particular
phase of time period. Therefore, there are various functions such as recruitment, selection
training and provide safety to its employees that must be influenced by virtual working
environment which is discussed in this report in an appropriate manner. In addition to this,
human resource administration system is considered as software that helps in easy
