INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is the strategic approach for the effective management and
efficient management of the people within the organisation that is helpful in providing
competitive advantages. It is specially designed to recruit correct person for the vacant job
position, plans are made to increase performance of employees.
Rolls Royce motor car is British luxury automobile company operates building
administrative and productive facilities open and in the year 2003 it serves across the historic
goodwood (Brewster., 2017).
This report will examine how the human resource strategies are changed after the pandemic
and strategic human resource management evidence. It will analyse the impact of environmental
factors on culture and a chat plan of organisation. It also use a chair model to state how value
was created by the organisation. This report includes Storey’s 27 points of difference between
personal management and human resource management as a benchmark. Further, it will provide
recommendation regarding human resources practises to ensure the performance.

A) Human resource strategies that were changed by organisation after the pandemic and concept
of strategic human resource management
COVID 19 pandemic has created huge impact on the organisations as well as all the industries.
Mainly the automobile industry has been highly impacted by the pandemic. The sales of the
organizations declined and most of them were not able to reach their sales during the pandemic
time.
Changing policies
Human resource department policies have also changed after the pandemic. Human resource
manager of the Rolls Royce company implement the new strategies like during the pandemic
25% of workforce working within the company (Armstrong., 2020). They also bring some
change in safety policies which include use of sanitizers and practicing social distancing. These
that were implemented were mandatory for each and every staff to follow.
Online recruitment

Online recruitment and interviews take place for the future post. Company takes interview of the
people so in future they can fulfil the vacancies. Due to the pandemic they have lost various
skilful employees so now they are making themselves ready for the post pandemic.
Change in leave policies
Similar to the employee’s health and coverage, the leave policies for the employees of the Rolls
Royce are changed. There are some benefits added for the employees like if they get sick due to
Covid then they get paid leaves. Also, the leave policy ensures that for the vaccination time is
provided to the employees so that they can conveniently get vaccinated and can take leave the
next day.
Remote work schedule
From the post office closing to the social restriction that has been carried out in the
COVID-19 outbreak, the remote work has been normal for most of the businesses. In this regard,
remote working has also been implemented by the Rolls Royce. This has added an element of
flexibility in the working of the employees. The various tasks are completed on the basis of pre
planning and remote work schedule.
