Task 1: Executive SummaryA: The report is about a Design & Communication consultancy “C-Design”, and the challenges it is facing in its Line of business. In the report, it is also mentioned about new strategic changes that the company need to adopt in order to push back its numbers like in the past. Currently the company is growing through a bad phase, with business decreasing, revenue plummeting, and the rising competition, with a number of institution coming up with courses in design, the supply for the services is increasing and the demand remain the same, hence the times for C-Design is not so good. The company has a 4 phase growth strategy which it wants to deploy and get back in the business. The 1st phase is to develop new business which includes purchasing a contact database, 2nd phase the company has to work towards its brand positioning, the 3rd phase deals with new design product for its most important customer segment (Corporate, Government & Arts), the 4th Strategy is the HR strategy, in which employees have to be hired, linking the HR strategy with the business strategy. HR strategy will help the corporate strategy by identifying the rightcompetencies and skill set in the individual and hiring them. The long term objectivesare to develop new business model for sustainable revenue and build a team to carry the business forward, in the short term the company wants to be stable and identify and focus on new target segment and work towards repositioning of its brand.HR and strategic monitoring can be done with a 360 degree balanced feedback and continuously reviewing the progress of the company on a fortnight basis (Jones & George, 2015)B: Vision Statement for the company can be understood as the company’s road map, indicating what the company wants to become and guiding transformational initiatives by setting a defined direction for the company’s growth (Kirkpatric, 2017)The most trusted name for the design industry- Brand StatementBuild an invincible team who foresee the challenges and future trends and work towards it- Team StrategyBuild some of the finest designs of the world.

I would love to build an image of trust, relationship and loyalty which one embarks onseeing the name C-Design. The company would be the market leader after implementation of the strategy with a high brand recall and good customer retention. Two words should resonate on hearing the name C-Design: Loyalty and Trust.Mission Statement: Be the market leader in the design industry by 2018 and change the outlook of people towards progressive and futuristic designing.The operational areas which need great focus are its product department and the operational team. Both the team have to be on their feet at all times, find new avenues of growth and work towards it. The workforce should be a great influx of experienced and the new found youth. Technology is another parameter where the company should focus on in order to build its brand (Durieux, 2017)Task 2: Marketing StrategiesThe marketing strategies were created with the following objectives in the mind:Brand RepositioningNew Business DevelopmentNew Product DevelopmentFor Brand Repositioning, the company has identified new customer segments Government, Corporate and arts and working towards digital designing while still keeping a focus on the normal designing (Ryan, 2016) The company is moving towards building its name in the digital designing as well, for the purpose of it, the company is coming with new products, like pages, microsite, websites etc. to show their mettle in the digital designing as well. The company is changing its organizationstructure in order to accommodate better suited individuals for its business development and growth. C-Design has understood that the new school of thinking isthe one who is disrupting the entire industry and thus by getting those brains would make them competitive (Zaidi & Kumar, 2016)
