Human resource managers are charged with the responsibility of directing, planning and
coordinating administrative functions within an organization through recruiting, interviewing and
hiring if staff. They consult with management and employees to ensure that management meets
the needs of the employees and employees meet the needs of the organization (Collings & Wood,
2009).
KSAOs are job-related Knowledges, Abilities, Skills, and Other characteristics that applicants
need to poses to be considered as potential applicants for the job (Brannick, Levine, &
Morgeson, 2007). This are considered essential for any human resource manager regardless of
the organization that they work in. employees are just employees and human resource
management principles do not vary across organizations.
