INTRODUCTION Human resource management is a process which is used to draw the formal system made for the management. There are various responsibilities that an HR mangers have to follow like staffing, training and development and motivate all the employees. The organisation that the HRM system is been implemented is ZARA. It is merchandising company of clothing and accessories. ZARA was founded in the year 1975 by Amancio ortega and rosalia mera (Cascio, 2015). The company explained the purpose and scope of HRM in terms of resourcing an organisation with different talents ans skills to fulfil all business objectives. It also need to evaluate the effectiveness of the key elements of HRM and analyse internal and external factors. HRM make a perfect job description , personal specification and Job offer letter that has been discussed in the report. TASK 1 P1 Explain the purpose and the functions of HRM which is applicable to workforce planning and resourcing in the organisation Work force planning is a process which need to implement current and future needs combines to form human assets. ZARA ensures all the activities of the workers that help an organization to achieve the objectives. All employees in the ZARA receive proper training and development from the HR managers so that effective work force planning is been made. Purpose of the HRM: The purpose of HRM in ZARA to come through the effective workforce planing that includetraining, recruiting, staffing and compensation management. This can change the production resource strategically, efficaciously and are ethical responsible. The purpose of HRM are as follows- Planning- In the context of the organization all the HR managers used effective planning methods so that all employees used them effectively and efficiently. Training-This is done in which ZARA give the proper training to all the employees in the organisation and they receive the good resources from them (Jiang and et.al , 2012). Recruiting-In the context of the organisation ZARA need to check the employee through different methods like online aptitude test, group discussions and interview process.
Selecting- ZARA need to select the right person for the effective job so that all employees achieved the desired goal and objectives. Functions of HRM: HRM is a process in which effective planning and techniques are been established so that organisation need to determined all objectives (Renwick and et.al,2013). ZARA give effective training and development so that all employees should work properly Recruitment and selection- It is a process in which ZARA had to choose the right person for the effective requirement of the organization. This is an essential element that is used to judge the right person. The selection of the employees is done through various techniques like online(Aptitude test), Group discussions and interview process . In order to select right person these stages have to be overcome, so that ZARA is able to select the effective person for their job. This function used the work force planning and resourcing so that all the employees should do the work in a planned way and used different resources for the effective planning in the organization. Training and development- It is the system which make an emphasis on improving the performance of the particular individuals in the organisation. ZARA gave proper training to all the employees so that they work in an effective manner and achieved desired objectives. This is done because each and every employee in ZARA have to know all the work in a planned manner. Work force planning and resource is done to access and mobilise all working conditions of employees. Planning is to developed so that employees can follow all the rules and regulations in the organization. All employees use different resource like searching through different websites and talking to different people so that the analytical skills is been developed. P2Explain the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to recruitment and selection Recruitment and selectionis a process in which organisation had to select the right employee for the right job. In ZARA an HR mangers have to select the right employee for the effective job (Buller,and McEvoy, 2012). There are two types of recruitment I.e. There are different HR practices that had made the benefits for both the employee and employer- Employment security-It is a process in which organization have to maintain the social contact between the organization and employees. The benefits of this factor that all employees in ZARA undertake social security programmes and inherit the characteristics (Purce,2014). Zara wants that all employees in the organization elaborate their creative ideas so that organisation will implemented effective strategies. It make the employees to not go to their homes and work in the organization itself. Selective hiring-The second best practice is the selective hiring. This disable the employees to add the values in the organisation. ZARA select the right candidate for the right job so that they make the desired outcomes. This company hire the right employees and select the best hiring technique that developed the organisation process. Self managed and effective teams-ZARA make different teams that made an employee to achieve the common goal so that they develop the effective planning for the organization. This process provides the best benefit that select the right candidate and implement effective teams. All the managers in the organization will understand the responsibilities of the company.

This can inherit all the characteristics that achieved the desired outcome in the organization. After recruitment of the employees the organization had to make different programs who developed the strategies skilfully. HR practices have to provide various benefits between the employee and the employer who can hire those employees who deliver exception results. An HR managers of ZARA provides the good training to all the employees so that effective planning methods is been implemented. This can help to make different decisions and plan effective planning programmes in the organization. P4 Evaluate the effectiveness of different HRM practices in terms of raising organisational profit and productivity HRM practices is a process in which various organisation needs is been implemented an organisation should receive the expected results in the organization. This can organising various needs and objectives in the organisation. By all the needs all the HR managers in the organisation have to implement various resources that make new employees to give proper training, selective hiring and accomplish various results in the organization. Training development-In this process planning efforts is been implemented so that organisation can seek the job related services in the organisation (Klingner and et.al , 2015). This help to raise the organisation profits and productivity in order to recruit and give training to the new employees in the organization. The overall objective of the training and development help ZARA to achieve interpersonal skills that had distinguish different characteristics of the organization. This can develop various needs and objectives of the organisation when they planned to implement the strategies and goals in the organization. Selection and staffing system- It is a process where the new employees can generate their ideas and perspectives to achieve the organisation profits and productivity. It helps all employees in ZARA to plan and implement various plans and procedures. A good employee relations make all the employees to be loyal and be an effective worker in the organization. It helps to maintain the good relationship between the employee and the employer. The importance of employee relations is help to maintain the importance relationship between the employees in the organisation for attaining the success. Strong employee require good productivity in gaining the assess of the resources in the organisation. Good employee relations help to build the strong feedback that helps in the decision making which led in different circumstances of the organisation. In ZARA the company needs to implement various organisation policies that planned various objectives in the company. All employees is determined and defined all characteristics that led the HR managers to differentiate plans and procedures in the organisation. All managers will make effective communication skills
