It is useful indelivering the following points which are discussed below:Improves productivity: Strong employee relation creates agood and pleasant atmosphere in working which maximisesthe motivation level of employees and they work with fullzeal and confidence. This improves productivity in thecompany. Minimises conflict: When the work environment is efficientand friendly than this eliminates the chances of conflict inthe company. And less conflict will lead to increase in theconcentration of employees while working. Maximises employee loyalty: When the workingatmosphere is pleasant and friendly, this will have a forcefulimpact on employee’s loyalty towards business. This willeliminate or lowers the employee turnover rate,absenteeism, etc. Thus, encourages them to be a part of thecompany. Motivates employees: When there is a strong employeerelation in the organisation then it will provide continuousmotivation to the people working over there. Everyindividual wants peaceful environment of working, so thatthey can contribute to their best.It is the company’s initiative to manage relationshipsbetween employers and employees. An organisation witha good and efficient relationship among employeesrenders a fair and consistent treatment to all theemployees which will make them committed and loyaltowards their job. Employer needs to maintain healthyrelationship in the work place because so that businessworks smoothly, avoids problems and assures thatemployees are performing to their best potential. An effective employer relation requires written policieswhich will contain the company’s philosophy, rules andprocedures for addressing employee related matters andresolves problems at the work place. The programs setdoes not guarantee that it will fit in every situation.Strategies for good employee relation will take manyforms and differs in various factors like industry,location, size, etc.The success and failure is dependent directly on theorganisation by analysing the relationship sharedamong people. The employee must share smooth andfriendly relations in organisation which is veryimportant to minimise the chances of conflict. Theemployees who feel happy in the Aldi are regarded asproductive employees who contributes effectively inaccomplishing organisational goals and objectives.Employee RelationsHuman resource management is that function within anorganisation that focusses on hiring, selecting, providingtraining, appraising the performance of employees,deciding compensation, assures safety, etc. This is acontinuous process and handles all aspects ofemployees. Organisation undertaken in this report isAldi which was founded in 1946 and deals in retailsector. This report will explain the employee relation indetail with relevant examples. It will also examine thevarious employment legislations and their impact ondecision making by evaluating the pros and cons of eachof the legislation.
