INTRODUCTIONHuman resource management is an important part of the organization. It is an effectiveprocess of managing people in the organisation. It helps to business in gaining competitiveadvantage (Boon, Den Hartog and Lepak, 2019). Present study is based on the “Arcadia group”is a multinational retailing company. The group has more than 2500 outlets in the UK. Study laysemphasis on the purpose and functions of HRM in the organization. Report will show thedifferent approaches of recruitment and selection and strength and weakness of it. Study ishighlight the various HRM practices in organization and select one practice and define itsbenefits for both employer and employee. It is also highlighted by how hr practices help toimprove productivity and profits. TASK 11. This function help to Arcadiagroup to placing right person at right place at right time at right cost. Training and developmentTraining is the function which is help to know the where employees are present and whatthey have to achieve through skills, knowledge and ability. This help to Arcadia group toimprove current and future performance of an employees by increasing ability of employees.Through education and using effective training methods.
