This essay evaluates the critiques of the International Criminal Court (ICC) by African states for their inappropriate behavior against African states from the perspective of different dimensions. The ICC has been accused of targeting African states unfairly and declining to investigate crimes committed in other countries. The critique of the actions of ICC is based on sociological legitimacy, morality, and legality. However, the argument against the court has been weak enough to put a charge against the court for such inappropriateness.
