ABSTRACT
Globex has embarked on development of an online application that will enable and easier
management of the warehoused grains. Since Globex has been a long standing client of
Virtucon, the organization has given the project to Virtucon. The aim of the application is to
provide a convenient way to the clients as well as the growers to deal with the warehoused
grain. The online application will be integrated with the payment option of the choice of
buyers and sellers that will make the process of transaction easy and effective. I-Crop will
only support the current session of the grains that are coming to the warehouse.

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW –
The i-Crop application that will be developed by Globex will enable the crop growers in seeling their grains in a
much easier manner. The system will enable online bidding of the price of the crops that will help in selling the
crops in their true value. The aim of the project is to enforce a convenient way of managing, selling and buying
of warehoused grains
2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES –
The project has been undertaken by Globex to develop an application for the clients of Globex eho are
involved in growing and selling of the grains. The i-Crop application and the website will be developed v
Virtucon in house. Virtucon will be delivering the project in the most inexpensive manner as possible. The
website or the application will possess an easy interface that will help in easier operation of the application.
The objectives of the project are discussed as follows-
The project will not replace any existing system but will develop a new system.
The application will maintain the transparency in the buying and selling of the warehoused grains
The application will involve registration panel

5. Team Rules & Expectations
The rules that will be followed by the project team are as follows-
A Project Plan will be developed that will be followed for implementation of the project
A smooth communication will be maintained among the team members for easier team management
The team members will ensure that the project is delivered within a set deadline (Kerzner & Kerzner,
2017).
The team members will ensure that the resources allocated for the project is sufficient for project
implementation (Bredillet, 2014)
Team values
It is essential to maintain a good team value to ensure successful execution of the project. The transparency
among the team members help in easier management of the issues that might arise in the team and it helps in
mitigating the issues as well (Heagney, 2016). Having a good team value improves the decision making process
thus helping in efficient management of the team. The team values of this team are as follows (Marchewka,
2014)-
The team will maintain a transparency in management of the tasks
An effective communication among the team members will be followed (Burke, 2013)
The information gathered will be stored in such a manner that it can be easily retrieved.
Code of ethics
It is essential to follow the code of ethics or professional conduct while working on the team or for a project.
The code of ethics ensures that transparency and integrity is followed in the work processes. According to the
PMI code of ethics, the team members should be fair and responsible towards their work and should work for
the betterment of the team members (Leach, 2014). This will be followed in i-Crop project as well.
Rules and expectations
The team rules and expectations are as follows-
1. It is expected that the team will be able to deliver the project within the
scheduled time (Harrison & Lock, 2017).
2. The decision making will follow a democratic process (Phillips, 2013)
