1.4 Reflections on development of skills
I analysed that development of skills is found to be very important for the students in
the success path of life. For the purpose of reflecting my experience, I used Kolb's reflective
learning theory. It is the learning cycle which is sued by an individual in order to create
knowledge by transforming past experience.
Concrete Experience: It was a great experience for me when access the online
classes of LEAP online. A tutor told me about this website and I felt really amazing as I got
many knowledge and information about the development of academic skills and ICT skills. I
also analyse that when I was accessing online classes then I have a doubt that is it good for
me to take online classes for the development of academic skills and information and
communication skills. But my doubt was very wrong as I got to know that how an individual
can develop academic skills and ICT skills. I got many assignments which provided me a
knowledge that how can I develop academic skills and information communication
technology skills. So the overall experience was very good for me.

Reflective Observation of the New Experience: When I think that if I was not
attending the online classes then I found that it will become very drastic situations as I will
not get the experience which I learned. There is much information which I have no
knowledge about them such as Microsoft office 365.
Abstract Conceptualization: I learned from my experience that I should never judge
anything by only just name as it is important to test. I also learned that communication skills
are playing crucial role and I realised that I was developed due to attending sessions. I also
found that there are many skills which I learned from the lectures sessions such as my
personal development and digital literacy.
Active Experimentation: It is very important for me as I analysed that I need to use
this information in my practical life so that I am able to develop more and more
employability as well as transferable skills. This will really helpful for my career growth and
success. With the development of ICT skills, I am able to get many success opportunities as it
helps in my job opportunities. I found that I can easily got a reputed job by the development
of skills and knowledge.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that development of necessary skills are very important for
individual. It helps in increasing employability and transferable skills which assist in
achieving goals and objectives of students. It is also very beneficial for the purpose of
achieving career objectives.
