This paper carry out research on the role of information management in mobile
computing in detail to understand the way in which mobile computing are currently involve in
our everyday life. A systematic comparison was done on the results and the recent studies that
has been conducted by various researcher and collected those information from different articles
and has been discuss on the report. Today businesses and organizations requires technical skills
to manage various tools based on information. Computation helps in solving hardware and
software task. Mobile computing gives various advantages that has achieve in the conventional
systems. Mobile computing has the feature that involves wireless networks which is easy as
compare to wired systems. College student has innovated the use of mobile computing by
teaching and learning on mobile communication technologies with the wearable devices like i-
Watch and Google glasses and provided higher education by bring the technologies of mobile
computing and engage the student to improve the college experience. The technologies of mobile
computing emerges to create and share the content. Conclusion and Recommendation were made
for future work that need to be done on developing the use of mobile computing to manage the
role of information management.

The paper will conduct a research using secondary data for the information system on the
role of managing information in Mobile Computing. The article that would be consider on this
research paper will give the author an overview about the theoretical framework of mobile
computing, elaborate the discussed theory and provide with substantial information through
sources that are relevant. Initially, the computing program was entirely loaded for single
processor with many disadvantages and frequent failure. To overcome such issues the paper with
discuss the use of mobile technology by college student, organization and various industries.
There will be finding and analysis done use of mobile application. Presently, there is a
combination between computer technology and mobile phone technology which has now
become a smart phones. The surveys and research will be consider to understand the author
perspective of conducting those research. This will help in providing conclusion and
recommendation based on the research that different author has conducted by going through
different articles.
Theoretical perspective
Most of the organization uses Information Management to manage the operations
efficiently, achieve competitive advantage and facilitate communications with the customers,
employees and stakeholders. Companies always tries to reduce the cost and improve the
productivity, employers are globally competitive. Today businesses and organizations requires
technical skills that help manage various tools based on information. If the real life is considered,
extensive use of mobile phones has come up with the new term of pervasive and mobile
computing. With the invention of computers, efficiency increases and improve computation.
Computation helps in solving hardware and software task. There were many issue that the author
has come across through which they were able to come up with frequent failing of centralized
system.
According to the author Gujral (2016), user have access to network anywhere, anytime as
computation has accounts to users’ mobility. The present scenario embeds the computation with
processors with day to day tasks which increase the quality of computation. The advantages that
mobile computing give are mobility, easy installation, high bandwidth variability, low power
consumption, exciting research area. With mobility, network services could be access by the user
through any devices from anywhere or anytime. This is one of the advantage that has achieve in
the conventional systems. Mobile computing has the feature that involves wireless networks
which is easy as compare to wired systems. In contrast to wired systems, greater bandwidth
flexibility is offered by mobile systems to better utilize the bandwidths that has offered. Thus,
low bandwidth does many operations. The infrastructure of mobile computing do not require
machines with high power consumption systems. There are new and exciting research area like
the Internet of Things, networks, m-commerce, medical and banking which are open to greater
research area and employment scope.
According to the author Liu and Guo (2017), the technologies of mobile computing
emerges to create and share the content. The smart phones, tablet, PCs are the Mobile computing
devices were images, video and audio are share, create and maintain the social networking that
are online. For college students, mobile devices get apparently engage with new and

demographic variables and socioeconomic variables. There was a significant contribution over
the information technology whose impact of the Internet with gender difference has been at
forefront.
In the article return by Musumba and Nyongesa (2013), it has been studied by many
researchers that contextual information is very advantageous with the paradigm of mobile
computing. The advantages that are taken for contextual information are neighboring devices and
users, user activity, time of day, and user location. Dey has different view of context-aware
applications which could rapidly develop for better empirical investigation for social
implications and interaction design of context-aware computing. Through this a new phase has
been developed for context-aware applications to understand where it can be used and provide
practical support and concepts for designing a software.
Findings / Analysis
In the article written by Gujral (2016), it has been found that mobile computing has its
advantages in the fields like banking, medical, entertainment, and context-aware applications.
Since the access to mobile computing was possible from anywhere and anytime, it has
distributed to many banking operations were within a second the access is possible. With this
possible feature, mobile technologies have advent to diminish large queues in banks. Even in
healthcare sectors, doctors can check and monitor the health of the patients from distance and
guide the patients accordingly. Thus, this has reduced the communication gaps and distance with
the use of mobile computing. With the use of mobile computing, movie tickets are now possible
to book easily by people. Environment can now easily control the use of mobile applications.
The results are produce depending upon the context such as switching off lights and air-
conditioners cooling get increase which has now been possible by mobile computing and support
automation. The mobile computing has offered applications over wide range which include
surveillance systems, business, baby monitoring systems, security and military.
In the article of Restuccia, Ghosh, Bhattacharjee, Das, and Melodia (2017), has discuss
that smartphones has become the most powerful technologies. Prior to sensing paradigms,
sensing process is the primary factor for humans for retrieving information that are up-to-date
and reliable. The article has new framework that can guarantee Quality of Information (QoI).
The QoI in the computerized world has been studied to process the enterprise data management
systems. In the article, the author extend, refine and highlight QoI two-layer definition as it relate
to context-independent and context-dependent aspects for the information product. The author
had defined the problem and the related work. The author had surveyed the state of truth
discovery art in the mobile crowd-sensing. In each section there is an overview of truth
discovery, discuss the related work and problem definition is formalize. The author when define
the truth discovery had found an interesting results about data mining and machine learning
communities. The problem that are similar to it was related to information on networks which

section of the gender differences with technology acceptance model, the trust, perceived
usefulness, financial cost and social benefits has included the affect of adopting the mobile
technologies. With the study it is demonstrated that the theory of adoption is important for e-
commerce and adoption to the behavior of human. Thus, with the adoption of devices of mobile
computing uses a modified Technology Acceptance Model.
In one of the article, the author Ahmed, Sheriff, and ShameemFathima (2017), has
discussed about the role of mobile technologies for college students. Presently, there is a
combination between computer technology and mobile phone technology which has now
become a smart phones. Data speed transmission increases significantly for smart phone devices.
Instantly the world is now getting connected through devices like e-book, tablets and smart
phones. Users running applications not only consume, it also produce and discover content and
continue to transform the influence of learning preference for college students for both outside
and within the classroom. The research study of ECAR on the student has suggested that there
are students that are undergraduate who bring digital devices of their own with portable ones.
The findings has support the decision making for other university and college that deploy the
applications of mobile learning, where students are provided with new tools of education. Mobile
technology could be adopt successfully. The researchers were in need of more information from
student who access and use mobile. The main focus of the study was on the uses and access of
mobile technologies by the students, paying attention to particularly on the use of mobile devices
and the practices of learning. The researchers were able to answer to question that were asked to
college students about accessing the mobile devices that has digital content to access and engage
and factors that influence this access. The next question that was ask to the college student about
the use of mobile technologies for the academic purposes. The main goal of the researcher was to
provide some baseline to the ownership of the mobile technology and based on it some future

principle and pattern that are design for the mobile interface has been analyzed and help
understand the important things about the mobile environment. The paper has findings related to
survey taken from literature to understand the mobile computing based on context awareness.
The context in the article were classified, represented and applied to understand the design
principles of context-awareness models. For mobile computing, context awareness is the new
application that has become the key factor for the development of new technologies. In one of
the section, the finding was done on the QoI for the mobile crowdsensing. In that portion of the
study there was some limitations and some weaknesses that were seen in the existing work.
However, a roadmap has been provided for getting all possible directions. In one of the study, it
has confirm the existence of gender is difference and the patterns of acceptance is also different
for the mobile devices with regard to gender differences in higher education.
Recommendations
It is recommended to develop a framework that support the context-aware applications,
privacy and security issues. It require more understanding of the context-aware application
design and development. For new developer who develop and design mobile applications would
help them analyze and understand some important things to design new application for mobile.
For mobile crowdsensing applications it is recommended to tackle security, privacy,
energy consumption and efficiency which will be helpful to build a society in every aspect of the
human life.
For college students it is recommended to continue the research and evaluate the impact
of mobile computing in the development phase and provide some useful guidelines for product
designers and marketers. With mobile computing, education software could be easily
downloaded.
Mobile computing is distributed and centralized computing which come into picture with
actual use of the real time scenarios. The real time data can be monitor by mobile computing
with the use of sensor and actuators. The real time data would be collected and passes the
information to process further in the server.

From the study I could able to collect the information from various article and has analys
the use of mobile computing. After collecting multiple resources and article I could able to
gather the information on the role of information management with the use of mobile computing.
The information management system is used by most of the organization to manage the
efficiency. I have learned that businesses and organizations need technical skills to manage the
tools and this tools will be used in real life though mobile phone application by downloading the
software. It improve efficiency and computation. The software and hardware task can easily be
solve through computation.
In one of the article I came across with the mobile computation network access is
possible by users from anywhere and anytime. Computation is embedded with the present
