Mobile Applications as Cloud Computing: Implementation and Challenge
After reading the mentioned article on the impact of cloud computing on mobile
applications, it is evident that the research topic has been discussed conclusively in the
article. The research question has been stated conclusively in the following article and the
significance of cloud computing has been discussed properly.
After properly assessing the topic, I understood that the article has discussed the
significant role of cloud computing along with several mobile applications and has pointed
out the high momentum of its adaptability. The innovation uses of multiple applications are
discussed in the article. I was fairly surprised by the assessment criteria that were evaluated
while conducting the mentioned research article. Several mobile cloud applications such as
Gmail, Google maps and cloud storage have been evaluated in the mentioned article (Khan et
al. 2013). According to me, I think the paper has conclusively stated the research question
properly and has managed to provide its significance in the mentioned particular domain.
According to me, the research has covered several sections of the research literature but a
little bit more was still desired. The paper highlights the importance of cloud computing more
than on the proposed domain of mobile applications. The literature that are provided in the
beginning of the article are generalized and rarely discusses about the mobile applications
(Park and Kim 2014). I think the authors have tried to state the cloud computing topic to the
readers first before diving into its applications. The research could have evaluated the usages
of certain mobile applications on the people and could have measured the impact of the
particular technology (Etro 2015). Sadly, the journal that was chosen by me only deals with
the mobile applications related to cloud technology and does not evaluate its impacts. Thus
the research failed to cover all the relevant literature if the proposed topic.

The methodology that has been adopted for the research is inadequate as the article only
discusses about the mobile applications and cloud services and does not evaluate its impacts.
Cloud computing with mobile applications is a mobile technology which includes three
segments namely Wireless network, cloud computing and mobile computing (Fernando, Loke
and Rahayu 2013). As per my research, the article has defined how cloud computing can be
used to upgrade computational capacities of mobile devices towards rich and expanding
client experience (Dinh et al. 2013). With cloud computing and mobile applications, we can
browse our email messages, bank accounts, bills and other private data just by utilizing cell
phones. Total functionaries with another application information are evaluated to make it
secure from any other rogue Applications comprise of programming that keeps running on a
cell phone and plays out certain assignments for the client of the cell phone like email or
talking needs. Meanwhile, different specialists propose an appropriate technique for making
and creating mobile applications utilizing cloud and series that are associated with it. Web
services which are convenient, also called Restful web services are to such an extent easier
and adaptable to utilize. The fundamental point is to offload computational limit, security and
storage for various sorts of cell phone to cloud by using the restful web services (Abolfazli et
al. 2014).
The agreement between the research question and the philosophical framework is
adequate but the research methods that are utilized for the research still needs a lot to be
desired. Practical approaches could have been taken to give a practical insight into the topic.
The methods that were used in the study was biased and discusses the topic in general
more rather than talking about the cloud applications in general. I think the author could have
conducted a quantitative analysis or qualitative analysis to understand the impact of the cloud
mobile applications thorough a deeper insight than what is proposed in the article (Ramya
and Ramya 2013).
