Introduction:
In the industries created by the latest systems and influenced by the creation of the
web, information and communication technology for growth can be called the use of
information and communication technology (ICT) (Salanova, Llorens and Cifre 2013). The
ICT has greatly affected the growth of companies, society and culture. The goal of the ICT is
to take digital progress towards growth in society and the human race.
ICT has benefitted in the communication process that helps in gaining data in
different sector with the help of technology. The ICT deals with the information technology
systems and procedures that help to collect the information. The ICT and its application
include the use of internet, cellular telephones, wireless networks and other technology on
media (Livingstone 2014).
The objective of the ICT is to assess the beneficial and as well as the harmful effects
that is created on company, society and culture from the creation of the Internet on
information and communication technology. There have been reports of the misuse of the
ICT in many sectors. The ICT has been misused mostly on the business sectors that deal with
the ICT systems. Despite of having severe negative effects of the ICT on the business, society
and culture areas, the ICT has many advantages and benefits of it in the world. The study
focuses also on Computer Professionals ' responsibilities for the ethical use and future
applications of emerging data and communication systems.
Discussion:
In the previous few decades, ICT has provided a vast of communication and data
collection process to the society and mostly for the process of communication where ICT has
succeeded in providing a huge and genuine capacity of data. For instance, individuals in

distinct nations can interact in real time using technology such as voice over IP (VoIP), video
conferencing and immediate messaging. The Social Websites which are the parts of benefits
which people have received from the development of the ICT has been successful in
connecting peoples all over the world in both the personal use and business use. It has created
the scope for regular interaction from any part of the globe to any place where internet is
available (Bi, Ho and Zhang 2015).
Modern ICT has developed a "worldwide village" where individuals are able to
interact with others throughout the globe as if they lived by the side. That is why ICT is often
studied in the context of how contemporary techniques of communication impact society.
Positive and negative impacts of ICT upon business:

ICT enables a company to meet customer requirements more efficiently, effectively
and quickly. ICT can support company operations such as design, production, R&D, sales
and feedback. Prof. Nassef says "contrary to the common prediction that the demand for face-
to-face information is reduced by ICT and that its financial activities are dispersed further"
(Bou-Harb et al 2013). It indicates ICT encourages the agglomeration of industries.'
Professor Nassef claims, "Internet work search and recruitment offers potential gains
in effectiveness for the labour market and economy, by decreasing transaction costs and
offering a better match between employees and vacancies through widespread dissemination
of work data."
