TITLE: “To investigate impact of new technologies ICT to refugees in Africa”.
INTRODUCTION
In current time period, technology is rapidly changing the world for the better manner. It
is essential assistants reading and forwarding emails for gain attention of large number of
customers. On the other hand, there are various technologies such as Big Data, cloud computing,
block-chain and so more which are driving business and provide payments. ICT are creating
different ideas in order to emulate economic condition in Africa. For make improvement in
collecting of data as well as it provide a opportunities for other offerings, ICT have right
marketing strategies in developing marketing failures and also overcome all obstacles in
development (Black, 2018). Such type of benefits are depend upon critically in the context where
technology is situated which includes presence of complementary infrastructure and policies
which are designed to use ICT. In this, developing and emerging era data as well as
communication are developed international village in which people can communicate or interact
in al over the world and due to this advance sharing technology are directly affect on community.
In Africa, ICT set their transforming society as it would deliver prosperity and success on the
basis of broad involvement, social coherence and environmental sustainability.
RESEARCH METHODS
Qualitative method of research – It is primary exploratory investigation and it is used
for gaining an evaluation or understand the underlying certain reasons, opinions and motivations.
This will provide insight into the issues and problems which help in developing ideas or
hypotheses for potential quantitative research. Along with this, it is used for uncover the latest
trends in opinions and on the other hand, it is solving major problems effectively. This method of
investigation is used unstructured and semi structured techniques (Alam and Imran, 2015). There
are various methods which consist of individual, groups of interviews or number observation. In
this, sample size is usually very few and respondents are selected to fulfil a given quota. This is
used for collecting and gathering accurate data or information for completing the project in given
time period. There are only a few non representative cases which are used as a sample so that a
mutual understanding can developed of topic. It is an unstructured, exploratory method of
investigation which examines difficult phenomenon which are impossible to emulate with this
process of research. This tool is used for gain an overview understanding of human behaviour,

attitudes, intentions and motivations on the basis of interpretation and observation in order to
find out the way of people think and feel.
Advantages of Qualitative research method:
Subject materials can be evaluated with greater detail In this process there were very
prohibition which can elevated on method of research (Ackah, 2016). Its main objective
of situation prohibition is to create or develop effective results or outcomes so that
metrics can be undertaken. It is mainly concentrate on less metrics data which is being
gathered and collected in better manner. This will allow data has been increasing level of
detail that can be provided more opportunities to glean insights during examination.
It saves time – The qualitative research uses a similar sample size as compared with other
investigation methods. This is fact due to which they are collect more information from
each and every respondents. In this, research procedure will help in save money but it
produces fast results or outcomes (Bacishoga, Hooper and Johnston, 2016). If data is
required faster for essential decision which is one of the best research alternative that are
accessible today.
Disadvantage of Qualitative method of research:
It can lose data – In this, data can be identified by an investigator in qualitative research
for easily collection of required facts and figures. There is level of trust presents in data
collection procedures in which another form of investigation does not required.
It may required multiple sessions – It may be effective in gathering accurate data but
small sample size of this investigation can be problematic (Mahler, 2017). For developing
important decisions, there are number of perspectives which are often necessary to avoid
all cost related mistakes or errors.
Quantitative method of research – This is the form of investigation which relies on the
methods of naturals sciences that are developed or produced numerical data and facts in better
manner. Its main aim is establishing causes and effect relationship between two variables in
order to use mathematical, statistical and computational methods (Khoza and Manik, 2016).
Such type of research is also known as empirical research as this can be accurately and
preciously measured. In this, data has been gathered and collected by an investigator which can
be divided into various categories and it can be evaluated or measured in terms of units of
measurement. Along with this, tables and graphs of raw data can be developed with the help of

quantitative research and it is make it easier for an investigator to analyse results or outcomes. It
is used for measuring and quantify the issues by generating numerical data and such data can be
converted into usable statistics. In this, quantitative research method is used for quantify
opinions, attitudes, behaviour and other defined variables which generalise the results among
large number of population (Zijlstra and Liempt, 2017). It is used measurable data which are
develop facts and figures for completing the research report.
Advantages of Quantitative research method:
It is very familiar with quantitative research from the science classes in which they are
learned and practised of using scientific method. It is based on objective facts, statistical and
numerical data. This is easier for make predictions and estimation which is based on quantitative
data because of their numerical basis (George and et. al., 2016). The ability help in expanding
quantitative data into prediction is one of the main advantage.
Disadvantage of Quantitative research method:
The main disadvantage of this research method is that it can not be used in order to
describe and explain social phenomenon which make or develop it is effective in area of
sociology. Quantitative data does neither exist for non mathematical data that includes human
emotions, beliefs as well as imaginations (Ilcan and Rygiel, 2015). Along with this, it does not
help in maintaining and managing business operations in better manner.
