The world has transformed into a global village that implies management to perform
effectively in borderless markets and manage corporate philosophy to sustain the
environment comprising information technology everywhere. This journal article has been
reviewed by university professors who consider the betterment of organizations through the
strategic implementation of IT in the firms. Like Innocents, Mabiza, & Ezeanyika (2016), this
paper explores several ways through which IT can be enabled in global firm management
thereby redefining the vision of global firms. Since this paper reveals the significance behind
IT in managing global talent, it can be used by global firms managing cultural diversity and
the global supply chain. This paper also reveals some critical drawbacks of IT
implementation that needs to be considered by management before integrating IT systems in

prospects of ICT and challenges related to it. Unlike Ahmed, Qadri, Shahzad, & Khilji
(2011), this paper considers to examine one particular theme revolving around challenges
related to ICT rather than considering other key factors related to IT development in
organizational communication. The authors find that ICT has brought many challenges like
high-cost procurement, costly infrastructure, possible loss of old employees, data breaches
and frauds that calls for giving attention by management. Nevertheless, prospects behind ICT
has also been revealed that can assist readers while making decisions on ICT implementation
within firms. This paper illuminate's bibliography by making some key suggestions like
making arrangements that can ensure ICT maintenance in cost-effective ways.
