and profitability in global world. It also beneficial to save the time as well as money for the
customers. The purpose of information technology to increase the productivity and profitability
in marketplace. IT system has been evolved for maintain the services of hospitality industry. This
report has been discussed about the information management system to handle and manage the
business operations and function in effective manner.

retrieve all the data and information in proper manner. IT system is mainly considered the subset
of information communication technology to increase the efficiency and performance. Hilton
hotel is based on the retail business to use IT system to increase the productivity of business
process all over the world. This report will discuss about the specific role of information
technology and also identify t he their success and failure of organization. This assignment will
describe the social and ethical issues that pertain the business process. Furthermore, this report
will describe the different type of network technology that applicable in the organization. It also
differentiates between the technology to analyse the need and requirement of enterprise.

The main purpose of information technology to increase the competition in the business world. It
is an essential for Hilton hotel to maintain their luxury requirements. In this way, this hotel will
increase the profitability in marketplace.
1.2 Background
The information technology is evolved after the design and development of computer which
developed in the rapidly within school, offices in 1951. In the computer system, it is used the
programming language to perform different operations and functions. It also useful for store the
collection of information in effective manner. Nowadays, Information technology is developed
by using programming language that used the codes. In 1960, the first computer program has
been created with the help of mathematics (Benitez and et.al., 2018). The concept of interpreter
and compiler become possible through the computers. This program is useful for translating into
the machine language.
In this way, there are different areas to use the information technology for increasing the
capabilities and abilities such as hotel, restaurant, schools, office etc. The advancement of
technology is more complicated because it is based on the instruction. It is necessary for people

engineer, business analyst to use the information technology for developing the business process
all over the world.

international expansion. It has noted that business strategy and planning focus towards the
services. Many hotels have been invested lot money for maintain the business operations and
function. In this way, it will help for increasing the competitive advantages in marketplace.

and application. This information system will help for consumer to make reservation and also
compare with the prices.
Mobile Communication- In Hilton hotel, the consumer always update the changes in the
hospitality business with the help of mobile communication. They directly communicate with the
manager to inquiry regarding the availability of rooms, booking etc. The manger also send the
best offers delay notices, sponsor location based on the advertisements etc.

Room technology services- Many traveller carries different type of devices, wireless
internet connection which help for people to access the information. It is required for Hilton
hotel to provide the facilities to their guest to use the hotel application and access the room
services through offline and online mode.

customer to easily check the services and also communicate with the staff members. Manager is

and development of enterprises.

that analyse information and presented in proper manner whereas the user easily make the

that applicable in the firm to easily determine, distribute, create and adopt the strategies

security and safety to the entire organization. It is needed for business to protect their sensitive
information to the hackers (Duan,Cao and Edwards, 2018). This retail business is adopted the
local areas because it is reliable, secure and flexible for customer. Users are using to build the
strong connectivity between the smartphones and LAN. It is the fastest speed and efficient to
create a positive impact towards the users. In this way, this hotel will increase the productivity
and profitability in marketplace.

system is beneficial for Hilton hotel to increase the demand in the market due to the information
technology.

store and transmit data from one place to another. According to the discussion, it is
recommended the information technology system to handle the business operations and function
in proper manner. Hilton hotel is based on the retail business to use IT system to increase the
productivity of business process all over the world. This report describes the specific role of
