2IMPACT OF ROBOTICS IN HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Part one: Research
The foremost objective of this proposal is to highlight the impact of robotics in
hospitality industry
Robotics: It is defined as the type of technology which are increasingly used in
different categories if industries such as the manufacturing industries, Information
Technology industry and hospitality industry. Most of the essential business operations of
these industries are optimised using robotics technology. Robotics technology can be used to
understand the increasing expectation of the consumers of these industries (Bowen &
Morosan, 2018). The robotics technology is responsible for the growth and development of
numerous industries as it helps to enhance their net profitability by increasing business sales.
Most of the human actions needed in these industries can be replicated using the robotics
industry. Business environments can be understood in a better way using the robotics
industry, it can also be said that robotics technology can help these industries to have a
competitive edge over the other industries as well. The use of the robotics industry is
increasing each day both in our society as well as in major industries.
Hospitality industry: It is defined as the type of industry which includes services to
customers such as lodging, event planning, drink, food, travelling, transportation, tourism
industry. This industry depends huge n the availability of the leisure time as well as the
disposal income. Different categories of accommodations are provided in thus industry such
as breakfasts and beds, motels, resorts, hotel, service apartments. Bars and restaurants also
falls under the category of the hospitality industry (Gursoy, 2018). There are lots of other
industries which are connected with the hospitality industry such as the leisure industry and
the healthcare industry. The different business functions of the hospitality industry are event
planners, restaurant staffs, and front desk staffs. Customer service skills, personal grooming

and team work are the prime attributes of the employees working in the hospitality industry.
Satisfaction of the customers is the prime concern of most of the hospitality industries all
over the world.
Part two: Braining storming
The use of the robotics technology had a great impact on the internal stakeholders of
the hospitality industry such as the project manager. Most of the managerial activities of the
hospitality industry can be done using robotics technology (Ivanov & Webster, 2017). This
automated technology generally works 24/7. Instant chat support to the customers of this
industry is possible with the use of the robotics industry.
Robotics technology is widely used in different categories of industries such as the
Information Technology industry and manufacturing industry (Ivanov et al., 2019). Most of
the business transactions of these industries are done using robotics technology.
Robotics technology can be aligned with other technologies as well such as Artificial
Intelligence. Robotics industry and the AI are used in the hospitality industry. The
intelligence of the robotics technology are increasing each day due to the incorporation of the
Artificial Intelligence technology, the combined effort of these two technologies are used in
most of the complicated tasks of hospitality industry such as management of the employee
turnover by evaluating the performance of each of the internal stakeholders of this industry.
Part 3: Regulation and Ethics
The technology impact which is chosen for this unit of the paper is the enhanced
customer support. The four factors which makes this possible are listed as follows:
Customer support robots can interact with consumers without any human
intervention.

5IMPACT OF ROBOTICS IN HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Description of the process
The customer experience of the hospitality industry can be improved using robotics
technology. The robotics technology can be very much beneficial to address issues such as
data privacy is hospitality industry as the development of the hospitality industry depends
mostly on the security of the financial data as well as the business data (Ivanov & Webster,
2019). The business inconsistencies and the human errors of this industry can also be solved
used the robotics technology. The accommodation issues of the hospitality industry can also
be addressed using the advanced specifications of the robotics industry. The customer service
departments of the hospitality industry can also be enhanced using robotics technology.
Accuracy of information can be managed using the robotics technology (Kuo et al., 2017).
Most of the intelligent routine activities of the hospitality industry such as the preferred food
and drinks of the consumers can be done using robotic technology. The robotics technology
can be very much useful to solve numerous problems and complexities of the hospitality
industry. The role of the robotics technology is not only limited to the optimisation of the
tasks and the activities, however it can also be said that this technology can be widely used to
identify the performance of each of the stakeholders of this industry.
Components would be affected by the change
Most of the major decision making activities of this organization can be purposefully
improved using robotics technology. The dynamic robot autonomy can be very much
important to understand the business environments of the hospitality industry. The percentage
of errors in the productions rooms of this industry can also be reduced significantly using
robotics technology. All the engineering activities can be significantly boosted using robotics
technology as well. Business strategies are created and implemented by robotics technology
in most of the hospitality industries all around the world. Business decision in terms of the

comfort level of consumers of this organization can be identified in an organized and
structured manner using the robotics technology (Murphy, Hofacker & Gretzel, 2017). The
efficiency of the labours working in the hospitality industry can also be tracked using the
robotics technology. The significant business decision which are generally taken by the top
level management team of the hospitality industry during any adverse market conditions such
as recession and inflation can be done using the robotics technology as well (Kuo et al.,
2016). Most of the recruitment activities of this industry are done using the robotics
industries these days. The satisfaction level of the consumers of this industry can be tracked
in a structured way using robotics technology as well.
