Recommendations
Technology is innovating with latest ideas and it can be utilize to manufacture products
with greater efficiencies. There are lots of latest technologies that has overcome the car market.
Hybrid engines are one of the advanced engine concept used in cars. Jaguar is dealing with
Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Engine Vehicle, both of them has same operating
system. A combustion engines is combined with an electric motor. A Battery Electric Vehicle is
another kind of technology they are using whose engine is powered by electricity and no
combustion engine. These engines are next generation technologies but still they have not meet
the latest next generation concepts (Hildebrandt and et. al, 2015).
For achieving their target they have to increase productivity of their vehicles by adding
latest technologies. The technology they are using is of turbocharged diesel engine but the rival
companies has already started manufacturing hybrid engines in the market. Engines used by
Jaguar is a modified version of Ford's Duratec engine. They are using old and used technologies
instead of launching new concept cars.
Various steps has been taken by other leading vehicle manufacturing industries to
improve infrastructure of their vehicle. Jaguar can use innovative ideas to improve aerodynamics
of their vehicle which would increase the efficiency of their products. For now EV's are only
conveyed as concept vehicles but it could be launch in market to gain optimum place in this
market.
Recent technology used by Jaguar is of Combustible engine whose main fuel source is
diesel and the technology used by them is specifically for cars but there are certain new engines
of next generation which was installed by aerospace industries but many vehicle manufacturing

industries are using them. They can increase the range of manufacturing by the use of this
technologies (Mosco, 2014).
Apart from engines there are other things like braking system, safety system, interior, etc.
Bugatti is using latest technology of brakes. Jaguar is using ceramic brake pads which definitely
improves brake refinement but it is not frictionless. Technologies used by Bugatti involves
aerodynamic braking system which uses speed of car to stop at certain point. This technology
can be utilise by Jaguar because it would increase the efficiency of their braking system.
Moreover, latest GPS system can be installed in their cars to increase its productivity. It
has been reviewed by some critics that Jaguar S type car has V6 engine which is no that sporting
unlike its rivals also the quality of interior is very low. Most of the review is regarding the
degraded quality of interior. This problem can be solved by using latest methods and
technologies to improve its appearance. Moreover it would be recommended to improvise
transmission technology with latest one. Since, Jaguars are still working on combustible engine
and even their next venture is of Electric Vehicles but their rivals are launching cars working on
hydrogen fuel. So they must work upon upgrading their R&D sector and utilise this new
innovative technology to stand in super car market at supreme level (El Sawy and Pereira,
2013).
