Introduction
In the modern society, the implementation of social media technology is viewed to be one
of the most fundamental ways of encouraging the level of communication that is taking place
among various employees. Digital strategy can always be defined as an essential plan that can
make good use of numerous digital resources to attain a specific combination of multiple
objectives. At the same time, one of the primary reasons as to why organizations need a digital
strategy is to allow them to reach out to all their target audience (Zeederberg, 2015). Even when
this mode of technology is increasingly getting implemented across different workplaces, there is
a high demand in terms of developing a critical understanding of some of the primary reasons as
to why they are being incorporated. Generally, using social media in a workplace is always
helpful when it comes to adequate maintenance of coherence in terms of sharing a vast range of
work-related information that is likely to take place among various employees associated with a
given organization. On the other hand, it is also capable of significantly scaling up the level of
ambient awareness. Under different circumstances, putting a lot of focus in how social media is
used is highly capable of contributing to several unpredictable inconsistencies as far as its use
and adoption are concerned. Also, it can serve a variety of purposes concerning different activity
systems, thus leading towards the emergence of various contradictions together with
congruencies. Irrespective of the unoptimized functionality that is attached using modern social
media forms of technology in a particular work place, it still has the potential to bringing
onboard high levels of coherence in different work-related activities within any work
environment that is more decentralized (Forsgren & Bystrom, 2018).

How social media can be used
Social media can be used in a given workplace for several reasons. Firstly, it can be used
to provide an opportunity to the employees for them to be able to make and even support their
own professional connections. Through the use of social media sites, nearly every employee
within a given organization will be able to strengthen different aspects of professional
relationships, most so with people who tend to exist in the outer part of the organization. A good
number of these relationships will further lead to excellent opportunities that would have never
been available. The implementation of social media is capable of providing the employees with
a perfect chance to ask and even solve a variety of work-related issues (Forsgren & Bystrom,
2018). Posing a question on the social media platform is always a quick and efficient way to
come up with a wide variety of possible solutions within the shortest time possible. Even if the
provided answers are not in a position of solving the intended issue, the information provided in
the process may lead to the emergence of a new set of solutions. Moreover, using this modern
and advanced form of technology has the capability of adequately strengthening and building
reliable personal relationships among various workers within the organizational boundaries. As a
result, co-workers can be able to make good use of social media to adequately interact with one
another and even go as far as coming up with better relationships that will be able to bring
positive outcomes for the organization. At the same time, it also acts as an efficient technique of
encouraging different aspects of communication that are likely to take place between various
employees. Due to this, it will be able to share appropriate ideas and even scale up to levels of
engagement.
