Title: what are threats and opportunities in freight forwarding industry of
Australia?
Introduction
This research proposal examines the changes in the structure of the freight-forwarding sector that
have influenced the Australian economy. This proposal focuses on a role of the international
forwarders in bringing forward-looking logistic services, particularly related to the airfreight
sector in Australia. In addition, the airfreight entities are helpful in expanding wide-range of
services provided by them. The airfreight companies also offer warehousing together with the
value added services for products normally transported by air like electronic mechanisms and
aeroplane mechanism. There are various benefits of conducting local businesses in the airfreight
sector. The reason is that they have wide-ranging utilisation of Information Technology. They
are helpful in rendering high level of standardisation in the procedural entities. This dissertation
proposal discusses the threats and opportunities in freight forwarding industry of Australia. In the
first chapter, research objectives, research questions, importance and purpose of research is
discussed. The second chapter states literature review to develop understanding about the freight
forwarding in Australia. In addition, the research methods like research approach, philosophies,
approaches, research strategies, design, data collection methodology, as well as sampling method
are discussed in third chapter. The next chapter makes conclusion for better understanding.

Importance and purpose of research
This research proposal is significant to develop deep understanding about the freight forwarding
in Australia. With the help of this, the researcher would be able to conduct study easily to
explore opportunities in the airfreight industry. This proposal makes sure that reader would be
able to get the value of related issue of research. Therefore, the research scholar will get
understanding in relation to issue of study. It is required by reader to ensure that it is not another
unreasonable portion of writing. However, this is philosophical effort of a study to develop
understanding. This dissertation proposal establishes that the research scholar has great plan to
conduct research. In this way, this study would be successful. Therefore, this proposal provides
the outline for methods to do study for providing proper solutions or answers of the research
questioners1 .
