EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
IT plays important role in the business, in this report the importance of IT is being
analysed in the Tesco. Also the company is using SAP and different system software to attain the
competitiveness in log run. The below report has evaluated the different types of networking
technologies and best one for the company. The report has described the impact of AI in order to
enhance the business operations. Further, it is discussed the different stages of the software
development life cycle.

INTRODUCTION
Information technology is mainly used as for safeguarding the data and helping the
employees which helps in securing and working in efficiently. With using the IT in the
businesses it mainly helps in planning the business according to the trends to solve all the
problems for attaining growth. Tesco is mainly recognized as the multinational retailer serving
wide range of food and non-food products to the consumers. In this project report it provides
details about discussing the system software essential for every hardware in the company.
Further, defining the ethical and social issues are increasing importance. Also, identifying and
differentiating different types of networking technologies. More over discussing the impact of AI
in enhancing the business operations. Lastly explaining stages of software development life
cycle.
MAIN BODY
Discussing importance of system software which are essential for every hardware to be operated
in the businesses
System software is mainly used for the managing the computers by maintaining its
background for completing certain task in the company. As per the view point of Forkosh Baruch
and Erstad, (2018) The different system software is being used in the company which helps in
managing is daily operations it mainly includes:
MIS: The MIS is being use by the company as for managing and operating the business
by converting the data, also helps in analysing the information by researching the external
sources which helps in taking important decisions. With using this software it mainly helps in
directing the business for making the best use of the available applications and on the SAP
business projects. With using this system software it mainly helps the company in regulating and
calculating all the expenses for making the monthly decisions by the managers in the company.
Also it helps in finding the employees working hours and handling the sales by optimising stock
for producing the quality of goods. Also using MIS mainly helps in regulating day to day
activities in the accounting by making invoices, controlling inventory, providing consumers
details etc. further more by using the oracle in the manufacturing and producing helps in
planning the production and processing it one timely manner.

According to Gao, (2022) Oracle supply chain management system: With using the
oracle supply chan management system mainly helps to understand and supporting the company
hardware by standardizing the supply patterns used by the business
SAP business objects polestar system software: The SAP system software are mainly
used by the company as for implementing and analysing the feasibility of the company for
making the best use of the applications . as by analysing the recruitment rates of the applicants
also analysing the reasons for the dropout by the employees from the company and fulfilling the
administration needs.
Decision support systems: with using the decision support system in the company
mainly helps in guiding the company to make quick decisions, as by making changes and taking
decision on analysing the strategy given to the employees (Knežević and Stanojević, 2022).
Also, it helps in regularizing the HR data in more accurate manner for making strategic
decisions.
The transferring systems: With using the EPOS, with using the electronic point of sale
system mainly helps in recording the transactions by scanning the codes being purchased by the
consumers this helps in monitoring the processes by the cashiers and results in determining the
restocking for the products needed.
Thus, using the oracle and the SAP and the different system in the company mainly
results in quickly tapping the sales and managing the inventory of the company. Also, these
helps in delivering the product by direct mailing and properly organizing the salary term and
conditions which helps in improving the effectiveness in making the decision of the company.

digital world it helps in protecting the intellectual property rights by being responsible with
obtaining the software licence for maintaining the privacy of the personal data . The importance
of these issues is being increased as due to the challenges being faced while operating the
business into the dynamic environment as:
The misuse of information: This is the reason which increased the importance of the
social issues while operating with the digital world. As while operating with using online
websites for serving the products to the consumers (Guttman and Lev, 2021). In this the misuse

of the personal information of the consumers arises the importance of handling the ethical issue
as by customising the data and securing the private information being shared.
lack of acceptance of responsibilities: with the lack of accepting and adopting the
responsibilities for using the data of the company and managing the personal information of the
employees arises the issue by leading the mismanaged data.
Further more as per Kshetri, (2022) Misuse of AI is another issues as while misusing the
AI in the company leads to arising the ethical issue as this results in arising the biassness among
the employees working by creating racism in the facial recognition as it doe not able to recognise
the dark faced individuals (Kshetri, 2022). This arises the issue to work with using different
technologies.
Data security: The lack of securing the data being used by the company for managing
the employees and all the personal and the private information arises the issue by pertaining the
risk for losing the cyber security which results in crimes and threatening due to rise in the
discrimination.
Online marketing and cyber security: With using the online marketing mainly arises
the ethical issues n the company as the data and targetting the audiences in more effective
manner with violating their interests by advertising results in arising this issue when operating in
the dynamic workplace.
Thus, the importance of ethical and social issues is being arise to minimize these all
above challenges and to protect the data and operate on more secure and effective manner. As it
mainly helps in limiting the biassness while working in the company as to attain effectiveness
with adapting and using IT technologies and various software.

technologies that used to rule in the network industries that are identifies and differentiated

1. Software Defined networking: This is an emerging architecture aimed in order
to make the network flexible and cost effective. SDN helps to improve the
network performance by decoupling the network and having better control to have
better programming. This network technology used to allow the virtual level

resources by having control panel depending upon the physical infrastructure. It
has an ability to virtualize the network as compared with the conventional
network. The organizations who used to adopt this networking will deliver the
customers depending on the expectations.
2. Multi-cloud technology: Multi- cloud technology is considered as the
heterogeneous architecture of the different cloud computing and having storage
devices. This utilizes two or more public clouds by having the number of private
clouds while using the technology. The hybrid technology is the combination of
the private and public cloud while multi cloud consists of different private and
public clouds. This makes the stakeholders to select the solutions which used to

machines. By this it saves the time and money by having automation in the business. This also
ensures the company to have the better processes and tasks which increases the operational
efficiency and have the faster operations in the business. It is the wide range of the branch that
helps the company to use the machines and perform the better tasks by having the human
intelligence. By this there is proper utilization of the resources and less wastage of the resources
in the company. This makes the company to have the proper usage of the resources and perform
the task in better way.
This also helps the cited company to eliminate the lot of repetitive things and tasks that
makes them to bring new and better talent in the market (Zhang and Lu, 2021). By this the

and superior software that helps the companies to meet the customers needs, demands and
expectation. It is basically the detailed plan by having the stages and each stages has its own
significance. There are basically 5 stages of SDLC that is described below:
1. Planning: It is one of the most important stage that helps the businesses to make
the proper plan related with project. The businessman must have the proper
planning by having the proper interaction with the stakeholders (Chen, Chen and
Lin, 2020). By this there will be proper availability of the project team which
helps them to reduce the risks.
2. Designing the product architecture: In the design phase, the lead and technical
developers that helps them to create the high level of design plan to have better
software. This also includes the delivery of the requirements by having the better
security processes and hardware requirements. This document used to contain the

of the plan.
