company know the strengths and the weakness and the opportunists in the market and they also
know about the threats in the market. They are supposed to do the subjective work for managing
their strength and also to elevate their weaknesses. This theory is work on organization system it
says that it can be either open or close but mostly organization treat open system because the
open system interact with the environment which will help to manage the organization system.
Hungry house leaders have to set the goals and have to investigate the best medium for doing

Contingency theory
Contingency theory of leadership emphasizes that the effectiveness of leadership
depends upon coordinating its leadership style to right conditions. This theory was originally
developed by Fred E. Fiedler after examining various leaders in different contexts. It is
contradictory to “situational leadership” which forces leaders to comply with the situation.
Situation in this context may have different meanings. This expresses the development
preparedness level of the organization, it also relates to three factors in contingency. These
factors are:ď‚· Leader- Member- Relations- This is a quantum of leadership acceptance between the
organizational pyramid. If the subordinates have trust, confidence and feel adequately
motivated by their superiors, it is positive.ď‚· Task Structure- it is a measure of the clarity of the projects or tasks, their methods to
achieve the end product. There are certain clear guidelines to follow and progress can be
easily chased.

way as per the situation to effectually fulfill the organizational goals. Contingency approach
