INTRODUCTION
Effective time management refer to the procedure of getting more of essential work done in
a day, which is important for individual person to do that systematically (Wolters and Brady,
2021). This process drives the attention of individuals toward managing their time and activities
according to the schedule that they create appropriately. It is important for everyone to manage
their time effectively and daily practices accordingly, which enable them to obtain desire
outcomes. By getting more important work done on time, students can get high scores. The
current assignment will explain importance of effective time management to successful study.

What is the importance of effective time management to successful study?
Effective time management is considered as one of those useful keys that individual person
used to gain success, either personal or professional. This key play significant role in the context
of student’s growth who tend to study appropriately and successfully. According to, Oreopoulos
and et.al., (2022) effective time management is important, because it may enable students to
complete their study more in less time, which drive their attention toward taking initiative to gain
knowledge of varied areas. It may help to grow each learner, personally and professionally,
which is beneficial and essential for their continuous growth in the academic world. Pérez‐
Sanagustín and et.al., (2021) stated that effective time management allow students to make their
study successful, in term of making themselves well organized. They may feel capable to create
and effectively follow a fixed time schedule for every day that aid to organize everything from
wake up to sleeping time. It can be said that time management is beneficial for learners since
they may have a clear concept of varied projects or tasks to be done daily, and they may also
appropriately mark each task as done after finishing them.
In the view of, Aczel and et.al., (2021) effective time management may provide a greater
sense of aim achievement, for which each student may work hard and always tend to stay
competitive. It can be said that by developing and using time management skill, learners may
complete their work on time, without making any mistake that put negative impact on further
activities related to academic work. They may engage more with learning and understanding
different topics that they may use in the future to complete varied projects. By utilizing time
appropriately and effectively, students get more time free that drive them toward pursuing

practise that are essential in varied terms. According to, Hong, Lee and Ye, (2021) good time
management may permit learners to make the most of their capabilities and competencies as well
as enjoy the satisfaction of accomplishment. This skill is considered as the most expected
competency for academic and employment career of students. It enables them to make study
successfully and useful, that is not easy for a learner to do so with other skills as well. It is fact
that majority of learners in the recent time struggle with managing their time in appropriate
manner that lead to decrease their effectiveness, performance and productivity, which is not good
for long term success and growth.
Lyons and et.al., (2021) contradict that time management is defined as an art that brings
disciple in learner’s life and enable to successfully study. This skill for students and their study is
utmost essential, because of making them capable to balance their life as well as studies with
other basic, but important activities. It may allow them to reflect on their health and also add to
energy to reach desire outcomes. When student manage their time appropriately, they may add
more productivity in their study and increase the level of similar concept. Learners works really
hard to study successfully and appropriately, and time management is the best source that enable
them to do that. Time management is important to successful study because it may support
students to focus on achieving target aims and objectives that this set during the period of
academic years. Along with above benefits it can be said that the current concept is essential for
successful study because of different reasons. Effective time management is the most productive
utilisation of student time because it may allow them to get everything they plan done related to
study. It may enable them to organise and plan their time between the projects that each student
has to complete during academic period.
Schiavio, Biasutti and Antonini Philippe, (2021) defined that time management enable
students to prioritize their work and make their study successful. It may drive their concentration
toward getting more time and prioritizing their work, that affect positively upon their life and
growth. With effective time management students may not only complete their study according
to syllabus on time, but also have some extra efforts and time, left for their revisions. Successful
study makes them responsible and productive. By managing time and prioritizing work, they
may move ahead toward developing further aims that are important and necessary too, for
purpose of obtaining the best employment opportunity in which a student may take too much
interest. It may make study successful in different manners and each manner in return provide a

lot of advantages that learners may do not accept. It helps to reduce their stress and burden,
which is common to have and feel for each student, especially when they are getting higher
education in a well-reputed academic institute.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above study, it has been concluded that effective time management has
contributed to make students life’s quite easier, in form of making them capable to manage daily
activities, including personal and academic. With this skill and competency, they had obtained
short, long and medium term aims, which is not that easy for any student or learner to achieve
without managing their time that is importance for them to do so effectively and appropriately.
Furthermore, from above analysis, it has been identified that overall arguments have discussed
the importance of effective time management in terms of benefits.
