INTRODUCTION
Measure of success of an organisation depends on people and performance. In business
world, people refers to human resources that make a group and are linked by common interests
and goals. Likewise, performance is composite assessment about how well a venture executes on
its most crucial parameters such as market, financial addition to shareholder performance
(Miyakawa, Kawakubo and Oguchi, 2019). An organisation is made up of people belonging to
different ages, various backgrounds along with ideas about ways to perform well. It means
people in different groups at workplace are motivated through ample number of things as well as
perform best in particular manner. In order to manage people and performance, organisational
managers require some skill set that includes good communication, ability to motivate, patience,
delegation, problem solving, accountability and hence forth. For understanding people and
performance, BUNI Travel is considered organisation which is a local travel agent having base
in Bolton. The company have small workforce that carry out practices with traditional Personnel
department. Senior management have recognised requirement to improve performances of the
company for further expansion.
The report discusses certain tools and techniques that will help the organisation to
improve performance. It also highlight role of employee well-being in improvisation of
motivation and performance. At, last, it include PESTLE Analysis for the business concern.

Organisational performance comprises of analysing performance of an company against
its deliberate results that are set of objectives and goals. Effective performance management is
key for expansion and achieving sustainable success within competitive business environment.
For improving organisational performance, it is essential for human resource management to to
incorporate certain tools and techniques as it will boost productivity and long term success
(Situmorang, Wibowo and Fauzi, 2019). In case with BUNI Travel, improving organisational
performance is important for human resource manager and senior management re shape people
function of company concentrating towards improvising performances of people. For this, some
of tools and techniques that will help human resource manager to improve performance of BUNI
Travel are as described:
