INTRODUCTION
Businesses need human resource management to manage the performance of people in
organisations. It is ongoing and continuous process which help organisation to achieve their
goals. Managing people is very important task as it involves hiring, staffing, training, setting
their salary and incentives (James and et.al., 2020). HR manager have to clarify employees
expectations, provide them solutions for their queries, review their results and provide them
benefits which motivate workforce to perform in desired manner. This report is based on BUNI
travel agent which is based in Bolton. It is a local travel agent which provide services to people
related to travelling. This report includes tools and techniques which improve the performance of
organisation. Role of employee well-being in improving performance and motivation in
organisation is also discussed in this report. At the end of this report, PESTLE analysis is also
carried out for organisation.

Tools and techniques which help in improvement of organisational performance.
Employees becomes asset for the organisation if they effectively and efficiently achieve
their personal goals as well as organisational goals (Grover, 2021). Human resource manager
focus on the performance of the organisation and they manage the behaviour of employees at the
workplace. Performance management helps managers to track the performance of employees,
need of extra training and development sessions and need for an appraisal. It maintain quality
and standard of the performance and helps in the growth process of employees. BUNI
implements various tools and techniques to measure the performance of their employees and take
necessary steps to improve them if it is required. Those tools and techniques are mentioned
below:
Performance appraisal: This tool is highly effective and motivates employees very
well. It refers to the appreciation of employees in financial and non financial terms. With
the help of performance appraisal employees can fulfil their own needs as well as
organisational goals. Organisations provide appraisals on the basis of employees
performances on regular basis. This also helps in employee retention which reduces extra

INTRODUCTION
The people management is also be termed as human resource management and it is a
procedure that is used to oversees training and development, motivation and employee
management so that working concentration and its functioning is perceived over regular period
of instance. In this management assure about to create effectual planning and succession that
facilitate long term growth and development in progressive manner. It is an essential aspect for
business under which appropriate guidance, direction and pathway is provided to the employee
so that working environment also advances in clear manner (Pagán-Castaño, Maseda-Moreno
and Santos-Rojo, 2020). The report below is based on case study of INUB training as it is a local
providers of training and dependent over Bolton and having a relatively small workforce that is
concerned with traditional personnel department. The report below comprises of importance of
effective people management and its respective tool and techniques along with this role of well-
being towards employee is improvised in term of performance and motivation.

The performance management within an organisation assist to maintain respective lead
and success as in ahead of its competitors. It is essential for the business to make usual
involvement of managing, reporting and measuring of progress so as to improvise working
performance at all level such as individual and at corporate level as well. In this different
performance management tools and techniques are used to improvise organisational performance
as in easier and in effective manner that is as briefly explained below as:
Key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics: It usually provide certain way that is
used by business to control and measure wellness of company towards its working units and it is
in relation with both strategic objective and goal. It is concerned with the primary goal and value
as it is enable to enrich the data driven performance interactions and effective decision making. It
is an illusion that measuring and controlling everything is in resultant of perfect working than
that of being managed the performance (Khan and et. al., 2019). It is an quantifiable
measurement technique used to process overall planning as per concern of strategic, financial
and operational basis. It assist the business to make adequate control in terms of organisation
working as it s used to perform or achieve standardised outcome as per concern of working. The
