INTRODUCTION
In an organisation, leaders and mangers plays vita role in
managing and maintaining functions as well as operations of business in
proper manner. Each and every leader has different types of leadership
style which they use in their team. Amazon, which is a conglomerate
technology headquartered in Seattle in a multinational corporation
which deals in e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming etc.
Leadership styles are important to adopt so that goals and objectives are
achieved in proper manner. It is crucial for every organisation to focus
on managers or leader style because they are the source through which
everything is done is proper manner. Thus, Jeff Bezos who is CEO of
Amazon follows transformational leadership style.

Leadership is defined as process of influencing other decision. Not
everyone has the ability or skills to become leader. But, such knowledge as
well as skills can be developed within individual. There are various types of
leadership theories such as trait theory, behavioural, transactional etc. All
these are different from each other and are being applied accordingly. But
herein, behavioural and trait theories are being discussed (Arena, 2016).
Behavioural Theory- According this theory, it specifies that leader in
organisation behaves and reacts according to situation. In behavioural,
collaboration as well as coordination is being developed at workplace. Also,
it helps managers in deciding how to behave in team and with members. In
this, it is also believed that leader’s qualities and skills can be developed by
anyone who is interested in becoming leader. Thus, when using this theory it
is to be analysed that what are the impact of such theories on team and
management. Because, leader behaviour is important to be examined so that
decision making is done effectively. Also, strategies as well as tactics are to
be implemented according to the situation. (Meuser, 2016).

Trait Theory- This states that leaders are by born which means that to become leader one
needs to have some specific skills to become leader. Also, this address that individual has
leadership skills or not. Further, it also depicts that all leaders are different from each
other and possess characteristics as well as skills accordingly. It provides knowledge
regarding the leadership process in appropriate manner. Some of assumptions of this
theory are wrong and which are not be considered by managers in management. In this,
it is not possible to apply new and modern approaches of leadership. (Berkovich, 2016).

Transformational Theory- This is theory in which leader adopts the change, identify, and
transform according to the change. In relation with this, it is most effectively used from
the above specified theories. Leaders when going through this are able to deal with
uncertain situations or events that occur in market. Further, such types of leaders act as
inspiration, role model for followers or their team members. For example- Jeff Bezos
who is CEO of Amazon adopts the transformational leadership theory and has set
examples for others how to be successful. (Martin, 2017).

It is recommended that using transformational
leadership theory it is stated that managers need
to be aware about culture of management so that
decision making is done properly.
Also, it should not be apply aggressively because it

Leadership motivates followers to achieve task as
well as objective in appropriate manner. So, various
types of leadership theories are available such as trait,
behavioural, transformational etc. All deliver a deep
knowledge about leadership process. Further, different
kinds of styles are used by leaders which are directive,
supportive, and participative & achievement oriented.
Then, it is also stated transformational effectively used
by leaders who are focus towards change. Hence,
