Summary
On the basis of the presentation, this can be summarised that the leadership is a major and
very effective reason for the growth of the individual. A good and efficient leadership will help
the individuals to carry out the business operations and action plans in much suitable and
effective way. This will help the individuals to carry out the operations in much effective way.
Besides this, it supports a good development of the human relationship. A good leadership or
guidance will help the firm or an individual to face out its various challenges that are been
followed within an organisation (Gong, Li and Chen, 2018). The absence or lack of effective and
efficient leaders leads to unethical activities and misleads the team members, that can cause the
internal conflicts and impacts overall performance of the individual. An efficient leader like
Nelson Mandela possess certain qualities which helps them to lead numerous people. The traits
like motivating people, stimulation and consideration of the condition and effective participation
of the work force. The traits or qualities like a good communication, motivation, trustworthiness
and delegation of responsibility is the major factor that is been taken in consideration by a leader
like Mr. Mandela, making them successful and well accepted leader.
A good communication will motivate the people to have a good control over the
operations and actions. Besides this, besides this the positive communication will support a good
development of a trust factor within the people who are associated with a leader. This will help
the proper delegation of the roles and responsibilities in much effective and significant manner.
This supports the proper management of business activities and operations in much suitable and
effective manner. This will help an individual like Nelson Mandela to raise above others to guide
them. Other than this, it will help the person to get the suitable ideas about their functions and
operations that are been performed by them. A good and effective leadership helps the individual
to reduce the conflict among the team, reduce the cultural indifferences and misunderstandings
and establish the ethical considerations in much effective way (Frankel and PGCMS, 2018). A
good leader like Mr. Mandela will look after bringing the people together from various cultural
and ethical and operational backgrounds. It assists in proper grouping or team building and thus,
involves a proper assessment of their leadership quality. Mr. Nelson followed both, the Great
man and trait theory that helped him to connect with more and mode people in much effective
and significant way. He possessed the various traits like a good and bounding communication

skills, positivity, never give up attitude and ethics were the major qualities that made Mr.
Mandela a well renown leader and public figure all around the globe. His determination to be a
mass leader and fight for equality made him the first Non white president of South Africa. And
humbleness and down to earth approach helped him to connect with people in much effective
manner, making him so popular among the common people, who fondly called him “Madiba”.
Deeply influenced by another revolutionary leader, M.K. Gandhi, his non violent approach
towards the apartheid or discrimination made him popular in South Africa. Such leadership
within an organisation will help the work force to deduct the counts of conflicts and help in the
proper development of the strategies that will support a proper and effective growth of an
enterprise or firm (Anderson and Sun, 2017). Also, it will support the proper placing of the
decision making and reduce the lack of participation. All these attributes and qualities will help
the organisation to carry out their operations and activities and operations.
Individual reflection
Based on the leadership attributes that are been taken in the consideration within the
presentation of the leadership of Nelson Mandela, I can say that the leadership is the inevitable
part of the organisation that helps the firm and an individual to carry out the proper operations
and action plans that will support the proper rise in the operational capacity of the selected firm.
This will support the proper placing of operations and thus will support the effective placing of
the business activities and operations. On the basis of the assessment of the traits and qualities of
Mr. Nelson Mandela, the first Non white president of South Africa. I personally believe that a
good leadership will help the firm to enhance the quality of business operations and action plans
that will support a good rise in the operational capacity of the organisation. A good and effective
leader like Mr. Mandela will see through the proper management of the operations and activities
and management of the business operations that are been taken in the consideration by the firm.
The leadership has the various perspectives like Great man or Trait theory. This will help
the organisation to carry out its operations and activities in much suitable manner. These traits
and qualities like a good communication skills, motivating the fellow members and improve their
qualities and performance of the organisation ion much suitable and effective manner. This will
support a good rise in the effective placing of the skill sets that are been taken within the
organisation that will support the suitable placing of the business activities or other operations
that are been followed by me. A good communication and improvement of the business activities

will support the proper rise in the action plans that will support the effective rise in the business
operations and thus enhance the overall performance. This will also help me to carry out by
business activities and action plans that will support the proper rise in productivity of the firm.
There are certain leadership traits and qualities that will support the proper management of the
business activities and operation that will include the effective growth and rise in training
measures that are been taken in consideration by the organisation that will support a good
management of business activities that will support meeting of operational traits of the
organisation in much effective and suitable manner. It will guide them to carry out the
management of the operations that will support a proper growth and rise of effectiveness that
will support the rise in business activities in much suitable manner.
The major aim of the leadership measures is to reduce the conflicts and operations that
will help the firm to enhance the quality of operations and action plans that are been taken in
consideration by the firm. This will also help to ensure an effective team building with the
skilled and knowledgeable members. I, as a leader will see through the proper management of
training of staff in order to have a good and efficient work process carried out at an organisation.
This will support a proper following of the various ethical and functional requirements that are
necessary to fulfil in order to have a good share of operational efficiency of the firm. Following
of such measures will help the organisation to improve the productivity and thus will lead the fir
to enhance the quality measures that are been taken within the organisation. Besides this, it will
ensure a proper team working. Becoming an exponential leader like Nelson Mandela is a
difficult task but one can get motivated by his working and traits and can adopt them in much
effective way to claim a good extent of success. This will also assist an individual like me to
improve the confidence level and have a good control over my actions and command.
This helped me to develop a positive perception and acquiring good leadership traits that
will support the positive growth of teams and small groups that will involve my adoption of
leadership traits and qualities that will support the growth of a team. The management and
leading of a team helped me to get knowledge about the effective interaction with different
people within the team. Besides this, I learned to manage people of different backgrounds in
much suitable manner. Apart from this, working within a team helped me to have a good team
bonding. This will support me to have a significant growth on my personal and professional level
in the future.
