Introduction
It is very important for the student to develop various skills in order to achieve
success and growth. The students workbook is the development and the scenario
which help an individual to achieve the goals and objectives. It is very crucial for the
development of the individual to know of the various learning programme which
enhances in the productivity of the students. As in the academic learning the
students learn the various skills and knowledge of the differer topics which makes
them capable of becoming the effective and efficient working individual. This report
will include the discussion on the various topic which chicnesses in the different skills
and the effective approaches which can be sued by the business organisation in
order to be effective and efficient within the workplace to achieve the goals and
objectives.

1. Explain why line managers adopt the rational approach to recruitment?

It is identified that the line managers adopt the rational approach in order to recruit
the candidates because this is considered the most effective approach for
achieving the goals and objectives for an business organisation (Malek, Kline and
DiPietro, 2018). It is essential for the line managers to conduct this approach in
order to conduct the various aspect of recruiting the best candidate for the
business enterprise. This is the most crucial and beneficial approach for the line
managers in order to achieve the goals and objectives for the business
organisation.
2. Describe the differences between a job description and person specification?

There is the difference between the job description and person specification is
that the job description is defined as the role and responsibilities which ned to
be conducted by the employee in order to achieve the goal sand objectives
(Larasati and Martono, 2020). The job description is related to the job which
need to be conducted and defined what has to be performed by an individual
whereas person specification is related to the skills of an individual which will
help in achieving the different roles and re4sponsibilities. This is the basic
difference between job descriptions and job specification.
3. List three examples of how Diversity could encourage diversity when recruiting
candidates in organizations?

It is identified that the diversity within the recruitment process of the business
organisation helps in encouraging the diversity as this helps the companies in
recruiting the people from the different countries. This enhances in the
development of the company and encourages in the different cultures where the
people meet in order to achieve the goals and objectives. This also enhances in
the development of the organisation in different areas. This enhances in various
aspect. Of the development (Krekel, Ward and De Neve, 2019).

1. What are the problems with using selection interviews to identify the best candidate
in relation to reliability and validity as a selection tool?

There are various problems which is faced by the companies in order to select the
best candidate (Kaushik and Guleria, 2019). At times in happens that the
interviewer is not able to guess the capability of the individual while selecting the

where the right candidate is not able to get the chance within the organisation and
the person who is deserving might loose the change to enter within the right job
role. This is important because selecting with the use of the right tool can have a
major impact for achieving the goals and objectives.
2. What are the advantages of using a competency framework to design selection
interview questions?
