Introduction
The project titled “Starting an Indoor Cricket Tournament in winter for the University
Students” is an event management project. It involves the use of the effective event management
principles and techniques for easing the development of the project activities. The aim of the
document is to provide initial information to the stakeholders for understanding the aspects of the
project. The project would comprise of using effective principles of project management for
developing the event of cricket match for university students.
1. Project Scope
1.1 Project Objectives
The activities in the project are formed for ensuring that the event can be completed in
the estimated time duration. The objectives of the project can be understood by the following
points,
To initiate and organize an indoor cricket event that would be helpful for the
stress blustering of the university students
To plan all the activities of the project on a single scheduler for the alignment of
the activities for executing the project
To develop the activities and implement them for the successful execution of the
event
To complete the project in the estimated time and expected budget

The project ends in forming the effective event management plan for event of cricket
match tournament execution for the university students. The deliverables for the project would

The above stated deliverables have been considered for the final outcomes of the project

b) Cricket kits, playing ground, pitch, and field boundaries cricket matches
c) Score tracking and victory records must be kept
1.5 Limits and Exclusion
The limitations of the cricket tournament project are,

b) Interest of the players and availability of the facilities
c) Resource availability is another limitation of the event
