Introduction: The System used and Vendor.
The information system which has been chosen for the particular report is the Oracle
BPM. The Oracle software is a multi-model database Management information system. The
given software is marketed by the Oracle Corporation (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). The database
is most commonly used for the purpose of online transaction processing, warehousing of data,
and mixed workloads. The process software helps in user friendly modeling, tools for system
integration, rich task and case management capabilities. The organization itself provides
adequate support and training which enables easy use of the software solutions.
Business processes
The business processes as done by the software is as follows:
 The software is a web form designer. ( Asset)
 It is a process player( Asset)
 It conducts process simulation and analysis. ( Assets)
 It helps in monitoring dashboards. ( Assets)
 It helps in identification of business rules.( Liabilities)
How to use it in achieving business objectives
 Customer satisfaction: It provides customer satisfaction to the different customers by
helping the firm to maintain accurate data which will then go a long way to maintain
customer records.
 Functionality: It improves the functionality of the business, thereby assisting the
organization to perform well.

1. Inputs: The Inputs are the information and data which the users of the system enter into
the system. This goes a long way in helping the organization to store the data at one

2. Processes: The Oracle makes use of various SQL commands and systems to organize the
stranded data into a database system which organizes the information (Oracle.com,
2018).
3. Output: It helps the users in attaining relevant information easily just by using a
consumer code or the date of purchase.

From a technology perspective the Oracle BPM, helps to collect store as well as
disseminate information throughout the organization and use it in a manner such that it helps in
the accomplishment of the business objectives (Robson, 2015). From the perspective of the
organization, the information system provides a solution to the organizational problem and goes
a long way in assisting the managers to find plausible solutions.
From the management perspective, the oracle helps the managers by looking after
domains like leadership, strategy formulation and management behavior.

The Users of the system are as follows:
1. Midlevel managers: These managers make use of the technology in order to gain an idea
of the business processes and the next action to be taken.
2. Strategic managers: To form strategies for the long term of the organization.
The reports generated by the system are as follows:
 Trend Reports: This allows the managers to compare performance of the units.
 Summary reports: These summarize the overall performance of the organization (Sousa
& Oz, 2014).
