About the information system
Information system is designed for the purpose of providing better managerial support
towards the organization. This helps in managing the information related to each activity that is
taking place within the organization. With the use of efficient information system it becomes
easy to support the operations that are taking place within the organization and also ensures that
the people associated with the organization are able to make proper decision. The information
system of every organization is being designed in such a way that it is able to carry out all the
crucial activities within the time. Information system has the potential to generate customized
data with the help of specific task or decision making process and can have a customized format
that can tailor the need of the users. Apart from this with an effective implementation of
information system it becomes easy to increase the operational efficiencies and cost reduction
can be done within the system. The efficiency of the business activities increases with the help of
using emerging technologies in information systems.
Emerging trends in information system
With the growing technologies and innovation it has been observed that the information
system has been evolved immensely. This makes the information system an integral part of life.
With the emerging innovations it has been observed that the feature of information system has
been enhanced widely. This helps in improving the features of a system and ensures that the
performance of the organization has been increased. With the increase need of information
system within the organization it becomes essential to ensure that the technology is developed in
such a way that it offers greater feasibility and reliability towards the people of the organization.

The basic advancements that are identified within the information system of an organization
include the analytics concepts, cloud computing, artificial intelligence on the rise, virtual reality,
quantum computing.
Quantum computing
Quantum computing is a newly developed system that offers different ways for the
purpose of transmitting and processing the data on the phenomena of quantum mechanics. The
traditional computers performs it tasks by using the binary code for handling the information. On
the other hand quantum computing uses qubits that are mainly based on the principles of
superposition. The basic feature that is offered with the quantum computing is that it helps in
finding out the solution directly. Apart from this the quantum computing device does not require
any huge computational capacity and large amounts of RAM.
Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence based tools has been developed in order to ensure that the business
are able to meet the needs of the customers. Artificial intelligence has gained huge importance in
the food industry, manufacturing and engineering industries and as an assistant for penetrating
homes. The algorithms are developed within the food industries for the purpose of predicting the
certain commodities that will run out of stock and allows the time for organizing the delivery.
These also ensure that a proper database is maintained that contains all the data regarding the
maintenance and supplies made towards the people. Apart from this AI assistants are being
designed for the purpose of penetrating within the offices, homes and other areas. They are also
integrated within the transportation system for the purpose of providing better facility towards
the users. With time healthcare, finance and education system has also developed the artificial
intelligence.
