Introduction
The report discusses about the experience in the development of an E-commerce site
known as the IntoShop. The development of the software is done using PHP at the backend
and SQL query will be used. E-Commerce is the selling and buying of goods or the
transmission of data or funds over an electronic network. These transactions of business
occur as either business-to-consumer or business-to-business
The report focuses on the requirements of the user and the description of the project.
The report also discusses about the methodologies of the system and the contributions and the
requirements of the system before installation. The report provides the systematic installation
procedure and the snapshots of the codes and the website that is to be developed.
User Requirement
The first step in order to develop an E-commerce website is to conduct an interview of the
end users in order to produce a list of features that are to be included in the application. This
consists of the essential input in order to define the abilities of the application. There are two
types of users of the shopping cart. First is the administrators of the site and the second is the
end users who purchase the items utilising their browsers. After the interviewing the
administrators and the users, the requirements of the users are as follows:
 The users should be able to utilize the application of E-commerce from any type of Web
Browser that supports the HTML version 3.2 and the cookies.
 The visitors those are new to the E-commerce Websites should be able to register to the
website by themselves. The users will be distinguished by the identities of the user those
are distinctive.
 The transactions of the Website must be secure. That means, a mechanism of
authentication must be developed in the application in order to prevent the persons those

are unauthorized from making transactions on behalf of the users. The mechanisms
include Secure Socket layers or methods are utilised in order to prevent the access of the
information those are sensitive those are sent to the server by the browsers of Web.
 The visitors of the Website should be able to buy services and goods through the
electronic store
 The end users should be able to see a complete list of the items those are specified and
those are available in the Website
 The end users should be able to search items by associated attributes
 The visitors of the website should be able to search through the database utilising the
keywords those are relevant in order to recognise the items those are of interest to the
users
 The end users should be able to choose the items those are of interest and then add the
items to the cart for buying them in the future.
 The visitors of the website should be able to alter the quantity of items or delete the items
from the cart before the users checkout of the website
 All the items those are selected should be shipped to the end user after they purchase the
items from the Website
 The end users must be able to see the status of the items that they have ordered.
 Multiple users can use the E-Commerce Website simultaneously.
 The performance of the E-commerce Website should not debase with an increase in the
number of services and goods those are offered.
The requirements of the Administrator include the following:
 The administrators should be able to manage the Website of E-Commerce utilising the
browsers of Web
 The managers of data should be able to delete the end users

 The administrators of the website should be able to alter the status of the goods those are
purchased by the users after the items those are purchased have been shipped
 The administrators of the website should be able to see all the transactions
 The managers of the Website should be able to see the whole transactions those are done
during the whole day.
Project Description
The main aim of the project is to develop an E-commerce website where the main
products will be clothes, the name of the website is IntoShop, and the clothes can be
purchased using internet. An online store is a store that is virtual on the internet where the
clients can browse through the items in the website and then choose products of their interest.
The items those are chosen are will be collected in the shopping cart. During that time, more
information will be required in order to finish the transaction. The customer will be asked by
the website in order to provide an address where the items will be shipped, information of
payment such details of credit cards, or cash on delivery. A electronic message or an email
will be sent to the customer once the order is placed.
