INTRODUCTION An effective IT system refers a set of elements and tools that help an organization to align its all strategy and objectives with daily actions. This company was founded by Colonel Williams in the year of 1950. IT served only a group of customers and did not target all type of customers. Due to lack of innovation it became failed and sell the business to an American company. This present study is going to show the importance and increasing use of IT system within all functional departments of British home company. By providing different tools, IT department makes able to all functional department in accomplishing its goals. It will also show different ways in which IT system store and process data for knowledge management customer relationship and communication management. For improving business operations and making the business sustainable, IT supports value added changes. TASK 1 Use of IT system within different functions of organization British Home Plc is a successful company that has subsidiaries like supermarket, legal and accounting in some industries such as property, consultancy, travel and retail. There are several functions of this company which play a vital role in accomplishing its per-determined goals and objectives. Some objectives are: to identify the role of different IT system for organization objectives, to analyse reliable IT systems that can respond to organizational requirements and to evaluate IT system that support value added change. It is stated that this company did not grow as like its competitors because it was having a high profit margins and focused on only exclusive group of customers. This company see traffic in different kinds of data such as video data, text data, audio data etc. It is important for this company to make all these data safe and keep it secure. Manage data:All data which is achieved are in the form of raw and unformed. It is important for the company to keep and change it in a meaningful form.
