This research study examines the impact of social media on business performance, focusing on the benefits, platforms used, and limitations. The case study is based on Next plc, a British multinational clothing and home products organization. The study finds that social media provides faster communication, enhanced awareness, and increased customer engagement. However, it also highlights the negative impact of hacking and privacy concerns. Next plc uses various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to enhance its performance. The study concludes by discussing the limitations of the research.
