It has been learned that there are different project, program and
portfolio management application systems are there which help
to govern any project towards the objectives. The supporting
project management supporting processes must be followed by
the project managers to implement the project include financial
management, procurement management, quality management,
schedule and scope management, resources management and
risk management.
The study will help to demonstrate the supporting operational
system from the start to the end include: service life extension,
modernization and upgradation, disposal and retirement. It has
been learnt that with the help of service life extension the life of
a product, service and system can be improved beyond the
expectation.
How system maintenance can be used to analyse system
operations are also elaborated in this lecture details. In fact
corrective actions can also be taken against the failure report
with these approaches. For operational sustainability the
different components those are to be considered include
architectural consideration, reliability consideration, support
consideration, maintainability and system support. The
operational effectiveness is also elaborated through this
approach.
