Attributes of the project team membersDuring the recruitment exercise for the HPSS project, the project manager determines thecharacteristics of the persons that have applied for various job roles in the project. In this project,apart from technical expertise, the project manager has focused on three major personal attributesof the participants illustrated in the section below:Past Experience: The project for the installation of High Precision Spatial Sound andstage the George Jackson performance required the understanding and knowledge of managingand working on a long term project. Therefore, it is essential for the new recruits to have the pastexperience for working on such a technologically advanced and critical project. Problem Solving Skills: The HPSS Project involves the implementation of the soundsystem that was not installed before. Further, it has to be assumed that none of the project teammembers has experience of working with the HPSS. Therefore the problem solving capability isessential for the new team members for coping with any new critical problems or issues facedduring the project.Good Communication: The HPSS project would require a large number of employeesspecialized in various domain working together for achieving considerable success for theproject. Therefore, it is essential for the project team to have the good communication for teammembers for ensuring proper flow of information throughout each members associated for theproject.

Three common Vehicles In order to establish a strong identify among the team members, the project team has beensegregated into three major vehicle for distinguishing the nature and domain of work followed inthe HSSP project. The three identified vehicles are illustrated below:Regular meetings: During the project, the project manager has arranged regular meetingswith the project team and the authorities of NSC for discussing about the implementation plan ofthe HPSS system. In addition to that, the conduction of the regular meetings has allowed inarranging brainstorming ideas and various plan for completing the project within provideddeadline and budget. Communicating Matrix;: The application of the communication matrix inimplementation of the HPSS solution has allowed the project team members associated with theimplementation of the HPSS system to identify the appropriate communication channel forensuring the data and information flow. In addition to that, the communication matrix includesthe phone number, email and department of the team members. Responsibility Assignment Matrix: The utilization of the responsibility assignmentmatrix has allowed in identifying the scope of work in the HPSS project. Through theresponsibility matrix, the work and allocation of the team members for the projectimplementation has been identified. 1.c. Project Priority MatrixOne of the most vital factors that determine the success of the project is the tradeoffbetween quality, cost and time required for completing the project. Based on the requirement of

5 HPSS PROJECTthe NCS’s authorities, the performance, cost and time has been provided with various prioritiesas mentioned and justified in the section below:Constrain: The time has been set as constrain priority for the project. As mentioned bythe NCS’s CEO, the project should be completed by 4th October 2017. Therefore, thecompletion time has been provided with the constrain priority for completion. Therefore, theschedule deadline for project completion for the implementation HPSS in the stadium has beenkept fixed. Enhance: The cost required for the project completion has been provided with enhancepriority as the financial budget for the project is tight but the NCS is open to accommodateexpenses if it provides value to the project. Therefore project budget can be optimized for thisproject.Accept: The project aims at providing enhanced quality of the stadium for attracting theinternational superstar for performing at the stadium. Therefore, the quality and performance ofthe project should meet the requirement and expectation of the NCS authorities.
