INTRODUCTION
ICT is termed as information and communication technology which Includes
encompassing radio, communication devices, computer and network hardware, cell phones,
television and satellite systems and many more. IT also consists various appliance and services
like distance learning, video conferencing, many analogue technology like digital mode of
communication (Blake, 2019). ICT play a most important role in today dynamic business market
as it helps many organisation to improve their decision making, create positive customer
experiences, reduce cost, enhance collaboration or communication, maximise operation
efficiency and many more. It enable firms to use various communication devices such as advance
computer software, internet and network on order to transmit, store as well as access
information. It assists the company to conduct its operation effectively by using this technology
during COVID which leads to increase in revenue and productivity. It has disadvantage also such
as electronic forgery, privacy breach as well as cybercrimes that might effect the performance
addition to reputation of company.
This project covers how collaboration tools helped the company to service the current
COVID by reducing the physical contract among the participants. Along with that advantages
and disadvantage, suitability, application of computing and cloud storage in digitalisation.
Moreover, it highlights security as well as privacy challenges and discuss what possible measures
could be taken. Further, it explain the benefits or limitation of new private network in Russia.
MAIN BODY
Collaboration tools
Collaboration tools are software programs, apps as well as platforms which helps
organisations addition to their employees streamline the innovative process and work with each
other in COVID efficiently. Google Docs, Zoom, Slack, Skype, Slack, Microsoft team are some
example of collaboration tool. They used to support a company, groups and team to complete
their specific goal by using these tool for communication and working online (Blaschke, 2018).
What are advantages and disadvantages of collaboration tools in general
Advantage of collaborating tools is it helps the team members to connect with each other
form working with different locations which leads to increasing in productivity. Through sending

emails, and information by using collaboration tool enable employees to increase their
communication and efficiency in less time.
The prime disadvantage of collaboration tool is risk of privacy and security as it
functions on cloud so there is huge possibility of loss of data, leakage of private information,
cyber crime and many more. Collaboration tool reducing personal contract that leads to create
confusion among team about working and accountability (Cull, 2019).
Cloud storage
Cloud storage is a model of computer data storage in which digital data are stored in
cloud. It kept data on internet which helps people to use it in their working in less time which
increase their productivity.
Advantage- It helps organisation to reduce the challenges of hard drive failure as
professionals can assess their data on cloud due to it acts as backup solution for storage on hard
drives. The advantage of cloud storage is it is cost effective, easy to use, develop and working
with internet.
Disadvantage- It is fully dependent on internet access, if organisation have poor network
the they have to deal with the issues related data storage, accessing and downloading.
Suitability- The major suitability of could storage is it enable business to develop
applications and testing their performance with historical data.
Applications- It is allow businesses to switch their promises by storing their data in cloud
and use it for future working. It also provide various features to recover their lost data, testing for
product, big data analysis and store content in their social media account for promotion
(Francisco-Menchavez, 2018).

Cloud computing is a activities of providing computing services including data base,
servers, networking, analytics, storage and many more over internet to flexible resources,
improve innovation and achieve economies of scale. It is used by company to provide remote
access and store any data related to performance or work (Huda, 2018).

Advantage- It helps the company to reduce their electricity consumption and IT
operation cost as they do not pay more fund to expert staff. It also provide many features which
allow them to communicate and share information easily in less time.
Disadvantage- It requires high internet speed to transfers, share information and work
efficiently. Many software of cloud computing have expensive features which will not useful for
company in future.
Suitability- The suitability of cloud computing for company is that it simple process of
development which can save the time, cost and resources. Many companies use this for
communication, data storage in one folder, backup for their valuable data and many more to
conduct fast working (Liu, and Lo, 2018).
Applications- It is applicable for many businesses like banking, IT, education, finance
and many more in their hybrid work. Many cloud computing applications are meeting
applications, presentation applications, GPS applications and so on that a business can use for
their systematic working during COVID.
Privacy and security
Privacy refers to the users have control on their valuable data or personal information as
well as how their information can be used. It allow person to maintain barrier and boundaries for
other to prevent themselves form unnecessary disturbance. Security has been termed as how
protected is firms and users informations form fraud or hackers. IT provide protection against
unethical, illegal access to data and information. It is crucial for developing trust among
organisations and users of data for working (Mariani and Wamba, 2020).

It is important for business to maintain privacy and security of their valuable in order to prevent
their innovative strategy, future plans and customer information from competitors. As lack of

as well as workers. It is also popular for its high quality video collaboration features. During the
time of COVID , many businesses use ZOOM collaboration tool due to its best quality calling
features and it is simple to use. It enable people in lock down to connect with each other as well
as companies to keep in touch with physical contact with its workers.
Trello is another collaboration tool which allow companies to organise projects, tasks as
well as activities related with their working into boards. This app consists a portal, in which daily
tasks can be shared and tracked within team members. During COVID, it helps company in
enhancing purposeful collaboration for their workforce which works online that leads in reducing
security and privacy risks. It enable organisations to engage their employees in working among a
team by utilise of available resources. Trello gain huge popularity in pandemic due to its
effective features which arrange and manage connections.
Privacy and security during pandemic
Potential privacy and security threats businesses might had to face during Pandemic
During Pandemic many businesses use collaboration tools and software which increases
the issues of privacy and security. Generally more than half of working population performing
their duty from home by using collaboration tools. In COVID, cyber crime increase its maximum
level which affect the potability, reputation and operations of businesses. The biggest threat

which many business suffered during pandemic is they loss their private information regarding
new plans, innovation and strategy which other business use and earn huge success. Company
implement more artificial intelligence, collaboration tools which helps them to increase their
productivity but also maximise the chances of breach, cyber crimes over email. Workers were
linked through collaboration tools which increases the privacy breach form hackers continiously.

Use strong and technical password- Professionals of company must block their site for

Private network can benefit the country to protect their information, data, details and stats form
