INTRODUCTION
Social media refers to the applications or website which is designed to allow people share
their thoughts, ideas, kills, talent in real time. This is one of the best way to connect with whole
world. People can communicate with their friends, family or relatives, even if they are far from
them, or they are not able to meet. Now it is possible for them to connect with each other through
social media. Most of the business use social media for advertisement, so they can spread
awareness amongst people about their product and company can earn profitability in their
business.
This report will discuss social media and it will compare and contrast between negative
and positive aspect of social media. This report will analyse challenges and security issues
people are facing when they use social media platforms and how this can affect their personal
life as well. In the end of this, report will select two examples of the social media such as twitter
and Facebook. It will compare and contrast their features, features, discuss their business
suitability. This report will also include justification about social media that it can become
communication tool or not.

Positive and negative aspect of social media
Internet become most desirable need of the people, internet connect whole world with
each other, people can see what's going in the world through internet. Internet is used for the
researches but social media is the tool which is used for the communication, advertisement and
meet new people (Enli and Skogerbø., 2017). Almost every person in the world is using social
media- they are using social media to meet new people and make new friends. It is also useful
for the business as well because company's can use this tool for advertisement and promotion of
their product but, there are two aspects of the social which are negative and positive. It means
people can use social media for positive and negative use both.
Positive aspect of social media

Social media help people to connect with many people all around the world. It is
important for both business and people. People can talk with their friends, relatives and make
new friends. It becomes easy for the people to live in other counties and stay in touch with them
through Social media. They can connect with them anytime and there are some features of the

Social media such as video calling and voice calling which makes it more better. It is not
possible for businessman to travel across the country every weak or month for the meeting (Oz,
Zheng and Chen., 2018). With the help of social media, it is possible for them that they can talk
with their foreign client or dealer through it, and they can run their business without travelling to
the other countries.
Educational purpose and useful information
Social media is the platform which also used for the education purpose. People make
their account on the social media and educate other people through their communication skills
and provide them useful information which can increase their knowledge . People share their
positive thoughts and ideas over social media. Most of the people give education related lectures
on their account and without taking any money. People can attend their class from their home
and implement new skills in themselves. Student are getting advantages from social media
because they can collect useful information from the social media platform (Petkovic and et. al.,
2017). Some students explore new ideas, some of them find information and new strategies to
improve in their work.
Voice of weaker people
Social media become a useful platform for the weaker people who are facing issues
from the society and government. They can raise their voice through the Social media to get
justice. Currently most of the cases seen by the people. they show their issues on social media,
and they get justice because media present those issues on their channels, which creates pressure
on the government to take serious steps against the criminals.
Best for online shopping
Many online shopping organizations use Social media to promote their product over it.
They sell their product through different social media pages and groups. There are many famous
online shopping business such as Flipkart, eBay and Amazon which are using social media
networking to promote their sale or product.

People are spending their most of the time by using social media. They are spending
