Part A
EEF factors of the project
There are two significant Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEF) that are highly
influencing the project success of Ford Motor Company. The internal EEF factors are identified
as the organisational culture, type of organisational structure and the available resources
(Zinovieva et al., 2016). On the other hand, the external factors are associated with
infrastructure, government regulation and the market condition (Popkova et al., 2015).
Henceforth, the project management process of Ford is depended on its organisational culture
and transparent structure where each of the departments has a unique role to play. For instance,
the project management team is entitled to plan and design a project. After that the stakeholders
are responsible to provide their valuable feedback on the project deliverables. Next the
governance board will finalise the reviews and recommendations. The availability of resources
also channelized through the same structure and agreed to follow the corporate scorecard
objectives. In the external part it is essential for Ford Motor Company to put thrust on the
government regulations for maintaining the standard of its products. In fact, the market condition
and the demand of the customers is also play a crucial role as EEF factor. As a result of that with
the help of infrastructure as the external factor and the resources as internal factors Ford tries to
plan a project and ensures its success.
Impact analysis of EEF
For understanding the role of the qualitative analysis of the EEF of Ford Motors
Company, both the internal and external environmental analysis are required in order to bring an
in-depth evaluation of enterprise environmental factors. In this regard, the internal environmental

analysis SWOT analysis is being taken whereas PEST analysis technique will cover the external
environmental analysis. The role of the SWOT analysis is to identify the internal factors that
influences the project management process of Ford Motor Company. Based on the research of
Phadermrod, Crowder and Wills (2019) it can be argued that the SWOT analysis emphasises on
the strengths and weaknesses of the organisation and finds out the possible opportunity and
threats that will affect the future orientation of the company positively and negatively (Bull et al.,
2016). The EEF factors of Ford are also divided into both internal and external factors.
Therefore, choosing the SWOT analysis will be justified to analyse the internal factors. On the
other hand, the PEST analysis is focused on the macro environmental analysis which identifies
the external factors affecting or influencing the business practice of an organisation. PEST
analysis deals with the political, economic, social and technological aspect that shapes the
organisational practices of an organisation (Aithal, 2016). Therefore, it will be relevant in the
context of analysing the external environmental factors of Ford Motors. However, it is pertinent
to focus on the external factors that are influencing the project management practice of Ford
Motors only.

Introduction
Project in an organisation is considered to be an important aspect in terms of
manufacturing and production. It connotes the beginning and end of a particular task associated
with the production and manufacturing of an organisation. The compact process with the use of
resources and scope are always important for the corporations to continue its manufacturing.
Henceforth, the role of project management is highly pivotal where the business organisations
