Executive Summary
The main aspect of this assessment is to provide an overview of the framework used by
Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA). This method is used to enhance the ability to
discover, create and access the data quickly. This report is prepared for the Australian
Federal Government, which describes the advantages of Intelligent Enterprise Design and
Enterprise Information Architecture Reference Architecture (EIA RA) in the context of
Electronic governmental system. The paper contains a brief description of Intelligent
Enterprise Design and two functional examples mentioning their key benefits. The aim of
this report is to promote the E government system which promotes the use of electronic
technology by the government. The Information and Communication Technology helps in
faster and accurate communication. E-Governance will help the citizens to have complete
access to government services by means of electronics. Finally,the paper concludes by
providing information how sometimes public suffers from electronic technologies and
acknowledging few drawbacks of connected government.
