The social media policy of the firm is based on the framework to utilize social media where
companies are required to work on the exchange of information, opinions, and experiences to
learn, develop, and have fun. These involve handling corporate accounts to use on their own to
remain productive and work on practical solutions to avoid any types of issues that might
increase because of negligence is the use of social media in the workplace. The scope of the
policy is "to expect the employees to follow their policies and procedures." The policy elements
aligned with internal social media policy include,
- To use a variety of online communities such as blog, social network, chatrooms, and
forums.
- Using different types of element to use personal social media at work to represent the
company using social media.
The use of social media allows employees to give access to personal accounts at work. It is
required by the employees to act upon their responsibility to ensure productivity; it is expected
by employees to improve work efficiency and concentration. The HR policy structure is as
followed,
- Using Common Sense – it is important for the employees to use social media positively,
engage the customers with the products and service without developing any type of
controversy for the political structure, economic structure, or the company.
- Ensuring personal account or statement to manage the company in Oman – it is important
for employees to consider the political and organizational structure in the region on
