LONG-TERM OBJECTIVES: WORLD VISION AUSTRALIA2Executive summaryWorld Vision is an international Christian community development organization that offersboth long-term and short-term assistance to different groups of people around the world,though its initial aim was to give children opportunities to improve their lives and alleviatetheir sufferings. It works with people of all religions, cultural beliefs, and genders to enhancetransformation in different communities. It was started in Australia by Dr. Robert Pierce in1966 Dr. Pierce had traveled to Korea and China and met with people who would regularlygo without shelter, food and clothing or even without medication. The primary objective ofthis report is to analyze the long-term goals of this organization, develop a detailed balancedscorecard that may be used to measure the achievement of these goals and analyze the criticalissues that may arise during the implementation of the balanced scorecard. Appropriatesolutions for the critical issues have also been given in this report, through a comprehensiveconclusion.
