Introduction
The assignment task made in regards to the management of tourism destination as it faces several
issues in the overall process management. The destinations need to manage as it includes several
issues related to the stakeholders, fragmentation, terrorism trends and political environment. All
these issues give a great impact on destination management and affect all the aspects related to
the tourism industry. This task will be discussed about the impact of destination management on
the stakeholders in the destination and the challenges facing destination managers. The strategic
and operational interventions used by the adoption managers are also included in this task. As it
reduces the several negative impacts on tourism and creates many benefits for the particular
destination. The management of a destination is too difficult to manage.

Impact of tourism on various stakeholders
The industry has various stakeholders that include residents, media, employees, government,
competitors, local companies, business associations and tourism developers. The tourism process
greatly impacts on these stakeholders of the destinations (Marine-Roig and Clave, 2015). The
tourism greatly impacts on the local community of the destination. The different impact of
tourism of different stakeholders includes:
Residents
The residents of the destination get affected by the different impacts of tourism. It is not
only the volume of work but the social interactions also affect the local community of
people (Gananapala, 2015). Majorly, the three broad effects at the local community
involve the commodification of culture, acculturation of another culture and the effect of
demonstration. All these three effects greatly impact the stakeholders in various impacts.
Employees
Tourism greatly positively impacts employees and increase employability and proper
economic growth. As it has been analyzed that tourism increases the overall economic
growth and employability properly.
Government
The government is largely impacted by tourism activities. As the economy of the
particular government is largely affected by tourism as it increases the level of the capital
outlays, fire protection, police protection and several financial administrations.
Local companies
Several local companies get affected by tourism activities. Although, tourism gives socio-
cultural impacts and improves the overall opportunities of the local companies (Hristiv
and Zehrer, 2015). The main opportunity of local companies is increasing in economic
benefits. It has been analyzed that a large number of visitors affect the overall trade of
local companies.
