About This Document

In this document, we will discuss what does the statement "the best interface for a system is no user interface"? This document will compare the bandwidth, distance, interference rating, cost and security. The issues associated with security and privacy in the context of the internet of things will discuss. In last describes Nielson's Law. How does it relate to Moore's Law? What are the implications for the Internet of Things?

1INTERNET OF THINGSAnswer to question 1The user interfaces might be very useful for the user to interact with the systems. But thereal problems with the user interfaces are that they get in the way of the user actually interactingwith the systems (Page, 2014). It gives a felling to the users that they are using a virtual systemand they are not actually interacting with the systems. The No UI design aims to provide thesystems that the users can interact with without any digital interfaces. This can help the designersto design the systems that are smarter and more useful for the people. Hence the no UserInterface systems are the best interfaces. Answer to question 2The provided table provides the comparison in between the twisted pair cable, coaxialcable and the Fibre optic cable (Hecht, 2015).Twisted pair cableCoaxial cableFibre optic cableBandwidth Twisted pair cablehas Low bandwidth.Coaxial cable hasModerate bandwidth.Fibre optic cable hasvery high bandwidth.Interference RatingThey encounter thehighest level ofinterferences. The interferencerating is medium.Lowest interference.CostCheapest medium.Coaxial cables havemedium costs.Fibre optic cableshave very high cost. SecurityLow securityMedium SecurityHigh level of securityis provided by thismedium.Answer to question 3The comparison for the Sensors, RFID and Video Tracking is provided in the table below(Yang et al., 2014):

The technology provides various type of facility for the system they are implemented in.The system provides various type of advantages but there can be various type of disadvantagesfor the people regarding the security of their data and also regarding the privacy of theinformation of the users (Wortmannn & Fluchter, 2015). The internet of things allows the usersto connect various types of devices that belong to the users to the network and allows them to goonline. This allows them to be online 24 /7 and this allows the users to get connected to the webfrom anyplace at anytime. But this makes the users vulnerable to the various type of intrusionsand theft of their data. This is a huge concern for them as a huge part of their personalinformation is being uploaded online. Hence they become vulnerable to the data theft and dataloss. This also makes the data of the organization which are confidential vulnerable to thehackers and the mal practitioners.
